I’m choosing violence again! So we knew that Chelsea and Rocco were gonna be a thing… we hated it but we knew. But Chelsea would NEVER actually be with this dude! Especially with Roccogate. What would be a more realistic reaction when Chelsea tells her about her relationship since MC was a part of Roccogate? How much would Chelsea have agonized about her feelings? Cuz if she’s gonna be with the man who hurt her bra, she must be FULL of horrendous guilt.
ohhhhhhh MOST FUCKING DEFINITELY chelsea would be filled with raging guilt!
because i believe chelsea had a thing for him right when she left the villa and that's why it didn't work out with anyone else.
bear with me, ok?
once she saw roccogate happening, and i do believe that's one of the reasons why she was so attached to mc (if rocco is her primary li), her first instincts was to protecc!
before she hits the villa she's been watching everything, but that includes how genuine rocco was towards marisol once they got to spend some time and get to know each other. of course it wasn't reason enough for mc to forgive him going behind her back at the time, but i think that's definitely a turning point for chelsea, even though she doesn't make a single comment on it.
isn't it weird that she didn't have a single thing to say about one of the biggest happenings in that season?? CHELSEA?? not saying anything??
i reckon the fact stayed in the back of her mind until she left the villa, and realized her feelings once on the outside. she's a big apologist of trying to see the best in people, and in post-villa life there's a stigma with people's images, unless you never saw them under that light in the first place.
as guilty as she could feel she also knows mc was over it and found love with someone else. but until chelsea has her bra's approval, i don't think she's completely enjoying herself. there's that chip on her shoulder, and i think this is what that speech (on cmm, about mc being mad) is about.
what angers me is that there was no option on cmm to just refer to it as mc going through roccogate. instead, they just inserted a generic dialogue that would "work for both cases" about mc being mad that chelsea didn't tell her anything.
overall? yeah, definitely feeling like she couldn't tell anyone until having mc's approval, and definitely being conflicted about liking the guy that hurt her friend.
i wish cmm had done more for that part of the friendship. there should've been an option at the beginning, asking if your mc was ever with rocco at first.
it would've been cryptic and kept my attention span to details, an addition to the mystery and the bra-hood, but hey, another missed opportunity.
