You know the Papyrus dating sim that you made a while ago! I have a small question 😭 basically when Papyrus realises that the player had Undyne , Alphys and sans cheering them on through the earbuds he says to sans a few seconds later “Yes I am sans and I hate how you somehow know that!” For some reason I’m REALLY curious on what the trio was saying to him so could you possibly tell us xD ??

I did actually write dialogue for what they say! I put them as direction notes for the VA (DavetasticDave) so he’d have better context for the scene

My idea was to give the player a taste of what it’s like to be on the opposite side of this shenanigan bash.

One Romantic Date, Hold the Awkward was my NaNoRenO 2022 submission! It was the first time I had ever led a team. And it was the first time I've ever gutted the UI as extensively as I did to build it from scratch. My focus that year was project management and UI design.

At the eleventh hour, I had lost some of what I was working on. Thankfully I managed to redo everything I lost and submitted before the deadline! I was so proud of myself and everyone that had a hand in working on this!

But I will say…

…my love letter project is still very much in full force 💜

I was toying with the idea of making another Sans VN. But after trying to brainstorm and trying to write and finally just stopping and sitting with it for a moment, I realized something important.

I haven’t actually wanted to make one—I just wanted to want to make one.

I still love Sans. I always will. 💜 And I still love Undertale. But I just can’t force a momentum that isn’t there right now. I’m giving myself permission to acknowledge that.

Does that mean that I’ll never make a Sans VN ever again? Well, no. I would like to make another one someday. But that’s not where my heart is today.

And I have to be honest with myself.

me: i'm gonna make this UI nice and simple and not complicated. also me: -codes the UI so that the CTC and Choice heart changes color based on what trait the player selects and uses hex codes to colorize a single image file and also has a separate CTC for monsters-
