perhaps the greatest thing about the human world was the fact that chocolate existed. of course, cupids knew a great deal about the sweet as it was used quite often for courting purposes, in the new age and old, but sooyoung wasn’t sure if many other cupids had acquired such a taste for it as she had. there were few things that could bring sooyoung out of a bad mood as quickly as chocolate, so when the chance came around to get her hands on some more of the delectable item, she couldn’t say no.
that’s how she found herself in this situation, two cups of hot cholate down, one her own and the other having once belonged to her newest friend. at least, that’s what she was going to call her. the sweet drink was now resting warmly in her stomach, and while the cupid was aware having another cup would only mean certain doom later on in the night, sooyoung couldn’t help but ask for another. of course, and she should have known this, her request was denied.
“but, sanna!” she draws out the other’s name, huffing before jutting her bottom lip out into a pout, eyebrows furrowing together as she crosses her arms over her chest. “fine, fine. if i can’t have another, can you at least answer my questions?”
it’s her turn to lean forward, placing both the palms of her hands flat against the table between them, a small smile tugging at her lips.
“i deal with chocolate a lot anyway, so forget money, in return i can get you a lifetime supply of the stuff.” another small laugh, this time followed by a sigh as she pouts a bit again, looking down at the table wistfully. “sometimes i wish someone would buy me a bouquet of chocolate. i don’t wanna hand em out anymore.”
her eyes flash back to sanna’s again, smile returning as her brows rise.
“so, tell me more about your job. pretty please?”
