Chocobo colour references

I noticed there doesn’t seem to be one place where references for all of the chocobo colours can be found all at once. There’s a forum post that gets pretty close, but no cigar, and many of the colours linked are in different lightings, and it’s sometimes hard to be 100% sure what they look like.

Anyways, I’ve decided to start a little project, taking pictures of the chocobo colours - all in similar lighting, and from multiple views (so you can see what it looks like in shade and in light) - and organizing them on a tumblr blog for (hopefully) easy reference. I’ve not quite got enough for a masterlist yet, but I will make one when the time comes that it feels justified.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’ve only finished with the red colour grouping, but if you’re interested and want to take a look, you can find it here:
