Let's do this, then: What deadly sin would best represent your OC?
He laughed at the question, leaning back in his chair and holding his stomach as he chuckled. It took him an uncomfortable number of moments for him to realize the question was a serious one.
“Oh. A sin to represent me? You’ve got a pretty funny system if ‘ya think anything I do is less than great in all the best ways.”
With that, Gideon fell right back into laughter.
I jumped towards pride when I first thought about this one- Gideon talks a h u g e game about himself, oftentimes exaggerating (and sometimes completely making up) his war stories and experiences. He constantly talks himself into corners and has to pretend he has any actual clue about the knowledge he’s bragged about having. But, he’s never one to ignore the accomplishments of his friends only to focus on his own, and inside himself he doesn’t believe he’s superior to others, so maybe pride doesn’t fit so well.
Wrath is a better fit for him. Whether it be his unbridled anger toward most anyone Garlean, reformed or not, or his tendency to fall into an uncontrollable fury when someone he cares about is injured… His rage tends to take control of him and won’t release it’s grip until Gideon has gone completely overboard. Long past the point of being a reasonable punishment for the crime.
thanks for the ask! @chocobodreams
