Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
God I don't really read books anymore, now that i have found manga...
Ok here it goes...
The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstine // yeah i know it's a children's book but it's been my favorite since childhood, ok?
The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling // i didn't want all of them taking up the whole list, but they will always stick with me
Animal Farm // a fucked up story but has always stuck with me since i've read it
Fairest by Gail Carson Levine // Loved this book, one of my faves. Its the same author from Ella Enchanted.
Treasure Island // just one of those classics that i seem to reread, even though the style gives me a headache...
Puss in Boots // yes its another children's book, but this one is one that i have always cherished
Miss Moppet // are the children stories counting as books? This one I remember from my childhood the most. I used to ask my mom to read it to me every night before bed and she would give the cat and the mouse voices. (as i got older she started making them cuss, which only made me laugh more...)
The True Blood series // addicted to them because of this person...
The Daring Book for Girls // not a fiction book and was given to me by a family friend. It's basically a guide to being badass...
Horimiya by Hero // i though i might as well add a manga. I am currently addicted to it and they haven't updated yet and they just became a couple and i am sad about that..
There's my ten! I had trouble thinking up books. I didn't really like reading that much as a child and got into it more in high school. Manga has currently taken over my life, along with anime, but this is all i can think of at the moment.
I tag: tachibana-bodt, chocobunnyattack, whovianhetakuketchum, caboose1920, aintnobodygottimeforthisfandom, life-is-short143, caw--caw--motherfuckers, fallen-angel-assbutt, rcscool, and the-pretty-replacements.
If anyone else wants to do this, be my guest. I would have tagged more but it says ten. if you are my follower, you are my friend. you signed up for this when you clicked the follow button. you can't back out of this. :)
