I tell my kids (young adults) to take opportunities that are a little bit scary cause those are the ones that are truly challenging. Its okay to fail but you dont want to go through life only playing it safe. REALLY scary- no, little bit scary yes.

My best friends little sister is graduating from Vanderbilt University this month and she absolutely loved it. I bet the university has a gym on campus and you could probably get a single room on campus or something? Ask your supervisor more Qs!

its really up to you but if i were you, id definitely take it because its such an amazing opportunity that worth to drop the fear :)
Thanks for all the lovely replies and sound advice everyone! I will perhaps talk to my supervisor and voice my concerns.. And see what he says. My parents are certainly encouraging me to go too.. It is just my own insecurities that I must overcome!
