These Bourbon Chocolate Chip Cookies are a delightful twist on the classic chocolate chip cookies, infused with the rich flavors of bourbon and studded with melty chocolate chips.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup bourbon. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup chopped pecans optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract and bourbon. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and chopped pecans if using. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
