There is not a single character in this whole movie that I don't completely adore. The fish in the tank are hilarious and great. The sea turtles are fantastic. The sharks? I so love that they didn't make the sharks into standard big bad villains. They made them interesting. Fish are friends, not food. And Dory. How can you not love Dory. Dory is one of the greatest fictional characters who has ever existed.

Apart from Marlin and Corel (so adorable!!!) there really isn't any, which is actually really refreshing. There are just some really great platonic friendships.

This is one of Pixar's most gorgeous movies, I think. They did a fantastic job. Everything is so beautiful and colorful, and just generally amazing.

I have the soundtrack to this movie on my ipod. "Nemo's Egg" is one of the most gorgeous pieces of music I have ever heard in my life. Thomas Newman is god.

I'm actually super nervous about Finding Dory because this movie was so complete on its own. (And because Pixar has put out some subpar sequels in the last few years.) Finding Nemo means so super much to me, and I absolutley couldn't bear it if Finding Dory isn't equally as amazing.

Not really an unpopular opinion tbh. I like her but there are many who don’t for the exact reasons you listed.
I think she had the potential to be someone, but her character became a charicature. I'm glad to know that people have diverse opinions on the matter, that's always great to hear.
