On the bench sits a boy with blue eyes like azure jewels, mouth stuffed with blue cotton candy, fingers covered in blue sugar crystals that the boy stares at as if they are the world's greatest mystery, brow furrowed beneath mussed black hair. And Dean can't stop staring at the marking of blue candy above the corner of his upper lip, at the way his eyes are narrowed slightly, can't stop staring at the beautiful boy on the bench as the teacup ride spins and spins behind him and mothers walk by with parades of small children, and suddenly those eyes glance up and meet Dean's and his world feels like it's drowning in that gaze.
