Ingredients: 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 3/4 cups hot water.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. In a medium bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined. Spread batter evenly into an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa powder; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water evenly over the top; do not stir. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
