You know I’ve been thinking about how Gabriel grew up poor and I have so many headcanons for him.
Like if Adrien told Emelie she was cold, she would coddle him and demand that someone bring him a jacket. She grew up wealthy, she is use to people doing things to accustom to her own needs immediately instead of tending to it herself.
But if Adrien told his father he was cold, then Gabriel would have given him his jacket. A simple gesture, not as flamboyant and it might seem dismissive, but when Gabriel was cold as a child that’s what his parents would do for him. His father or mother would simply give him what they had as a sign of their love.
I was thinking it be cool if Marinette was extremely lucky-
Like it’s a part of her character. She even introduces herself as “I’m Marinette, and I would say I’m a pretty lucky girl!”
Marinette being the type of person who would tell you stuff like “Oh I was worried about eating out today but then I found a 50 dollar bill so everything worked out!” Or “Apparently the road to school was blocked off, but I got there just in time for it to clear out so I wasn’t late to school!”
She finds a lil white dog at the park one day, spends some time looking for the owner out of kindness, and the owner turns out to be an old woman. BUT that old woman is extremely wealthy and a few months later turns out she had decided to sponsor Marinette’s education in her will so she can go to the most private school in Paris
Because she stands up for Juleka, Marinette starts dating Luka, and it turns out he’s one of Jagged Stone’s children so he put her on an album cover as a present AND free publicity for her designs.
Adrien, a TOP MODEL falls in love with her because she returns his mother’s necklace instead of destroying it, basically establishing the love of her life and a secure future if she likes him back.
Nino saying “This is Marinette’s world and we’re all just living in it” as a joke-
But when she gets the Ladybug miraculous, her life starts to fall apart. It’s kinda ironic, that the miraculous of luck happened to make her life worse off, but that might just be a silly side effect of being the holder? Like fate has it where it’s attracted to lucky people, but then it neutralizes it?
And so throughout the show, there are moments where like “everything turned out okay in the end”, but mostly it’s just one super slide of her civilian life going downhill. She still has moments where good things happen to her seemingly out of nowhere, but I’d like to think now they don’t last as long as she’s use to. They’re more fleeting, if that makes sense, because something always happens that ruins it.
Chloe invites her to her birthday party because they’re finally not enemies anymore, but then takes the blame for ruining it
Dates chat noir, her idol and crush, but he breaks up with her and gets akumatized
So you see her going from this happy-go-lucky girl who’s just like “Hee hee, oh well!” to a paranoid and anxious “I have to be careful, something bad is going to happen soon.”
In chocoau! I really like the idea that Chat Noir is Ladybug’s protector.
He’s there to make sure she’s safe and can protect Paris, or is just the one she can rely on and fall on when she makes a mistake. It would give Adrien a sense of purpose and the chance to prove to himself (and unconsciously Marinette) that he can be a kind person. So even though Chat Noir doesn’t have a crush on Ladybug, he’s always willing to listen to her and do as she asks just because that’s his role as the Cat miraculous holder. Maybe that’s also why he calls her “my lady”, because he sees himself as her knight!!
She trusts him to be there for her, and he trusts her to take down the akuma.
(This would also reflect in Plagg and Tikki. When Tikki gets kidnapped or is in trouble and Plagg sees, he never hesitates to help her even though it might expose himself or the other kwamis.)
- Redeemed Chloé and Mylène became friends because both of them are big theatre/movie nerds;
- Purple Tigress' signature weapon is a baseball bat that she loves to swing on her enemies;
- Marc is Marinette's cousin on whom she tested her designs. In one of Marinette's dresses, Marc goes on his date with Nathaniel;
- Felix has an obsession with boybands such as NSYNC, Westlife, and Backstreet Boys. Adrien and Nino are falling from laughing when Felix sings "I Want It That Way" with his Cockney accent;
- Sabrina has good sight, but she wears glasses because Chloé, a fashion guru she is, says that glasses would look great on Brina.
RAAAAH THESE ARE SO PERFECTTT!! 🌈🌈

Sabrina needing glasses but gets contacts instead because Chloe says her eyes are too pretty to hide behind glasses
FELIX BELTING THE SONG WITH HIS WHOLE HEART DEAD SERIOUS bc he resonates with boy bands but literally no one can take it seriously
Mylène giving Redeemed Chloe all the leads bc she admires how great an actress she is (everyone knows she’s right but are still salty)
Like, Emelie WAS able to conceive normally, but Amelie was still struggling, so being a caring sister Emelie introduced Amelie to the peacock miraculous and used it to make a sentimonster for her twin sister (Amelie’s driving emotions being wanting a child so badly, like her sister). But the surprise was they looked exactly the same lol.
And Felix knowing he’s a sentimonster based on his cousin, (his mom might have revealed it to him?) he lowkey hates him for it because he feels like the “clone”, and Adrien makes harmless jokes about it and not knowing how true it is. So he is struggling to find an identity separate from Adrien, especially when everyone keeps thinking he’s Adrien.
But he is different.
They act differently, have different senses of style and humor, and they even talk differently. Pretty much everyone who actually talks to Felix quickly realizes he’s not Adrien. Felix doesn’t acknowledge it, but he’s only Adrien’s clone in looks. Everything else is authentically Felix, and Kagami helps him realize it!!
I'm curious, what dynamics would Zoé have with Sabrina, Adrien, Marinette, Felix, and Time Travel Duo (Luka and Alix) when she arrived and after Chloé's redemption arc. Will she get the Cat Miraculous like in canon? Will we have some Kittybella (Ladybug Alya and Cat Zoé) moments? XD
Oh, and Chloé and Zoé should definitely have a sibling rivalry about both of them having a crush on a same girl XD
Also, am I tripping, or Chat Noir's outfit is loosely based on Tuxedo Boy from Sailor Moon? If yes, it would perfectly fit for Adrien's canon love for anime (he and Chloé are watching Sailor Moon together all the time!)
Zoe would probably have trouble breaking out of her “online” persona, like she’d say something like “cutielicious” then catch herself and apologize for being cringe ehehe. Other than that, everyone would probably accept her!! Zoe would become part of Chloe’s friend group (The class calls them The Empire) and they’d all hang out together! :D
Zoe doesn’t get the cat miraculous like in canon, (since I haven’t been able to fit it into my timeline YET) but there IS a Rena Rouge and Carapace duo!!
Zoe would NEVER do that to Chloe, that would go against girl code!! /lh (but I personally don’t have a pair for Chloe in the au because I feel like she has way too much she needs to address about herself before she can date someone-)
CHAT NOIR IS KINDA BASED OFF OF TUXEDO MASK LMADKNFEANLJ, I’m lowkey embarrassed it’s so obvious 🥹👉👈 like I really liked his cape so I gave it my Chat Noir redesign! I grew up with shoujo anime like that so the mysterious yet charming love interest is kind of engrained into my DNA.
