Anyways, y’all I come to show more indigenous nations of South Louisiana and the beauty of their culture! Fun fact, many of tribal members also have Caddo heritage, so they are rocking that! I feel like in conversations about indigenous people many of the nations of Louisiana(and honestly Alabama and Texas as well)tend to get left out! There are many indigenous people who still live on their territorial lands, including the Chocataw-Apache’s!
i’ve actually got to meet some of the tribal members throughout my experiences with going to powwow’s in South Louisiana! Incredibly awesome, kind, and loving people!
If you want to learn more about the tribe, here is their tribal website & Facebook page!
