The entrance to the choir of Lichfield Cathedral is a metal screen created in the late 19th century by Francis Skidmore and John Birnie Philip according to a  design by George Gilbert Scott who oversaw the renovation of the church.  The screen is considered a triumph of High Victorian art.  Unfortunately it was difficult to photograph in the available light.
