Roger paused the game they were playing and turned to stare at Harold intently.

"Harold." He said seriously after a moment of slightly awkward silence.

Satisfied with his expert flirting skills, he relaxed back into the sofa and continued kicking Harold's virtual ass.

The words felt strange in Roger's mouth. However, he had been meaning to ask for a while, having observed Harold carefully over a period of about a month and deemed him acceptable for pursuit. The two of them were playing video games, and Roger had just kicked Harold's ass for like the fifth time. He watched Harold's face with dark, serious eyes as he spoke.
