"You're not Choi Yoon. Why are you here?" (kang-gil-young)
This was probably a habit. Uninvited, sneaking into someone’s personal space when the owner wasn’t being there, opening their fridge to get water, then sittin’ on their bed. All of the curtains were closed and the room is left dark but Taegu could find himself staring at the cross on the wall. If he was a vampire, imagine that he couldn’t bear to sit any longer as the cross must be bothering him. But it didn’t, just like how he even dare to sit on the church pew. But even if there’s no demon possessing him, Matteo would describe him having a devil nature. Right, what devil do is keep tryin’ to shake people’s faith. There was Adam, the first human who’s tempted to disobey one of God’s rule in heaven. More or less, that’s what the CEO had plotted by being close to the priest. And he would eliminate any interference.
…that half-blind guy, for example.
He wouldn’t deny if Matteo had more friends. As long as they’re cool, he wouldn’t be interested in them. So, what category this woman would fit in? They must be close that she even could enter, she must have the key. Before he even could think of what relationship can be between a priest and a certain woman, he gazed at how sloppy she is. The tone comin’ out of her mouth is also rude. Is she babysitting his younger side? Hmph, probably. It was a quick response from her to recognize he wasn’t the person she wants to meet.
“God has created a human,” he spoke, eyes were locked on the cross. “But in the process, their soul was split into two different people. Though in a sense, they’re still one entity.”
He rephrased their conversation when he asked the priest “What am I to you?” and Matteo replied “You’re part of me.”
Taegu then stood up, turned at her, answering. “Thus, I’m here.”
