Omg.. What an asshole of a "dad" (Honestly lost his right to be called a parental figure). He could probably sue his dad if he wanted to. I can do research about it if you want me to.
He lost that right since the moment his son was born. Both of them did imo. I asked him once whether or not he hated his parents. He told me no, because in the end, they were still his family (I couldn't do that.) So, I don't think he would accept the offer even if his dad did have money and it was feasible.

Did I tell you I almost fell through my floor because they were too much of a cheapskate to fix it? They gave a me a wooden board and said "just put it over the spot on the carpet." Hell, I don't have air conditioner, heater, or a window.
I still look at it and go "how the fuck is this supposed to work?"
