*Oni falls again in the headquarters, over a table, but almost falls from it because of the oil.*

Chick P *finally turns on the light*: Welcome, back... bitch. Now it's me who's gonna make you pay it all!

Oni *slowly smiles evilly.*: You want it all, honey?

Chick P: Wait-WHAT?!... Goddamnnit! Why do you have to make it dirty?!

Oni: Do you want me to clean it for you?

Chick P: Oh, for fuck's sake!

So, it's March 7th, another aniversary for the 2007-2009 series #ChopSockyChooks This series has been my special interest when I was a child and now back in 2021. Watching again felt totally different: wacky scenes, questionable stuff and the characters acted a bit different from what I expected. It seemed that it was part of growing up and realizing that shows like this were imperfect from the start. However, I saw many opportunities, many dialogues, like Wasabi literally going against anyone who stepped on his way to be an emperor of the Mall, and I thought "Man! I wanted to see how that happened!" The interalized vengeful attitude of Chick P made me think of more sides of a hero; same with Joe's frustration with the citizens. All that sounded like a very intriguin story I wanted to know everything about, and the idea of an "Chop Socky Chooks Ultimate" or "Takashina, Rise Up!" started to go through not only my mind, but the minds of other fans as well. I thought that, with more accuracy, sensibility and better writing, the show could've been a great one! The music was dope, and the characters as adults instead of orphans going around exploring the world without their parents for no reason was really interesting! I wish the show could've gotten a second season for improvement and implementation of great opportunities it had. I made a list of drawings that could exemplify my ideas into what the show could've been about. Exploring the deeps of Wasabi World before, developing families and characters, what's outside? More allies? New friends? How Siren Sun became so famous. Do people really eat chickens (man, that was disturbing for a kid's show now that I think about it), those ideas were interesting to be developed in a more mature audience, with moments like this being perfect since the people who grew up with the show being adults. I really hope making the list of drawings I have in mind for this. In the second drawing, I've been practicing Chick P for so long that I'm surprised she finally came out better and exactly like I wanted her to look like. Joe and Chuckie were easy, but not her. Not at all! So, I hope you like it, and till the next time! Good ol' Cartoon Days, huh?

I Just Wanted to Post the Progress!

This is practically the last week of the year, and I guess I'll finish it with this Character Sheet of Chickadee Pao (AKA Chick P) from Chop Socky Chooks. I already had this clothing design in mind for so long. I remebered when I changed it to make it "closer to her personality", but I thought I was kinda of too revealing. So I changed it to the previous idea I already had and decided to change her hairstyle to a more subtle type.

The style was not always the best, but at the moment, I was practicing. To be honest, those times the characters I drew had better facial expressions. My goal is to be better at anatomy, gesture and lineart, so in that way, I can post more practices with the characters or other examples. This clothing was closer to Danny Capozzi's style of designing and I can't wait to the the pieced colored and finally finished. I didn't forget about Joe and Chuckie, since they'll be the next. I must admit it is a hell of a work sometime, but it's worth it! I practiced character sheet several times, but I finally managed to finish one of them digitally and I'm glad for it. Maybe other OC's might also have these features, like my old Meerkat Lion King OC, Akili. Right now, I'm focusing on finish this one, finishing the list of drawings of #ChopSockyChooks, #Spliced, practicing anatomy and animation as well, and make a list of drawings I want to make this year and have a better structure and ideas that can help me beat the creative block that some of us have. One tough Egg.

Of all the chooks, Chick P is as determined as they come, especially when wanting to bring Wasabi to justice for what he’s done. A powerhouse of both brains and brawn she as skilled with her fists as she is with advanced mechanical engineering. Here she is on the walkways of Wasabi World taking out heavy enforcer entries before they harm wronged citizens .Enjoy!
