And by that, I mean, we could have appealed the decision of the county to keep our raised garden - $700 just to file the appeal. So Labor Day weekend we took it down. . I was delighted to find that not only did the boys WANT to help. They were good helpers. I’m a huge fan of regular chores for kids. It was nice for the boys to contribute and they loaded (with some muscle help from Mom) a whole wheelbarrow of gravel. . Because they put in the work we let them have some of the gravel. They decided to use it as a ‘floor’ for their playhouse. And they loaded that too. . Do your kids help out at home?
