y’all... I am head over heels... we just celebrated our one year anniversary of when I spent the whole day agonizing about how I was going to ask them to be mine and they spent the same day wondering when we would be official

They’re funny and sweet and we understand each other like no one else and songs that use to hurt me don’t bother me anymore because they’ve shown me how love is supposed to be: sweet, passionate, funny, soft, honest, wild, and safe

I thought I’d been in love before them, but those feelings were hollow ghosts compared to the absolute enrapturement they give me

I never thought I was worthy of attention or care but they’ve changed that and we’ve seen the ugly sides of each other but aren’t afraid to put effort and committement into our relationship

They make me want to be a better person

And even though the last year has been hard on me (school, seizures, super mental illness) they helped me realize there are reason to wake up day after day

Sorry this is long and rambling I’m just overjoyed and they’re asleep in our bed snoring and it’s the most beautiful thing to wake up to and I’m just shook
