this person shaped hole in the wall was caused at the end of chp 86 when sanji kicked kuroobi through the wall. it has been shown in every chapter since but i just noticed it and i love it

Nami wants to draw a map of the world. Alrong wants a map of  the world so technically, arlong is right that their goals align. the difference of course, is that nami has no choice but to work tirelessly for arlong. nami is useful to luffy too (they could never get anywhere without their navigator) but it is her choice, and that makes all the difference

its interesting that this actually did work. the amount of force that arlong had when he propelled himself at luffy makes me think that he should have just stretched luffy’s fingers and still impaled him, but I guess since its luffy’s body/ability, he can probably decided how much he wants to stretch (or in this case, not stretch)
