"Karrueche Tientrese Tran, where the hell have you been?!"
I sighed deeply rubbing my forehead as Mom came over to embrace me. I mean I expected this but damn , I was not ready for all this yelling. I walked in and saw two police officers and knew this was some shit. Mom kept checking me and examining if I was all right while asking a million questions and Dad did the same. I looked back at Ro and cleared my throat pushing them.
"Guys, I'm fine." I groaned slightly pushing them away. "I brought someone with me though." Their eyes landed on Ro and Dad looked shocked as Mom was just shook.
"Rozonda." Dad breathed coming closer to her.
Ro seemed as if she wanted to cry but didn't. "Dad."
The front door opened and we all looked towards it. It was Chris with a mix of fear and sadness on his face. Once his eyes landed me, he was calmed. I felt a sting of guilt because he must've been like this the whole time I was gone. My poor baby.
"Chris...." I whispered frozen in place.
"Kae...." He came closer to me and once he closed the gap, Chris hugged me tight and repeatedly kissed my forehead.
"Thank God you're ok!" Chris pecked my lips and he changed from worried to angry. "I was worried sick about you! Where have you been? What have you been doing? Why did you leave? Why didn't you tell me?" Then he pulled me in closer. "Karrueche, don't leave me like that again! That was the scariest shit I've ever experienced!"
My mom spoke up. "I thought....you knew where she was..."
"Does it look like I did?" He glared then looked back at me. "Baby, I love you and I'm so sorry for what happened before you disappeared. Where did you go?"
"So this must be the boyfriend. Hi I'm Rozonda or Ro, I'm Karrueche's half sister." Ro stretched her hand towards him. Chris awkwardly shook her hand then looked back at me.
"Kae, you didn't tell me you had a half sister."
"Look you two need to catch up while I need to do the same with my daddy and step mommy." Ro practically push us out the door. It was Chris and I on the doorstep and immediately there was a silence.
"Start talking, Kae." Chris stared at the ground. I sighed deeply.
"Look, you know how my parents are trying to move me away. I don't want to leave you, Chris. So I looked up my half sister who lives in Tappahannock and went to convince her to let me stay with her. This was the only way." I opened the plastic container I was holding giving him a shy smile. “You want some chicken?”
He ignored it even though I know he really wanted the chicken. "You couldn't just call her?"
"I didn't have her number, Chris. Just her address."
Chris chuckled sarcastically. "But the million dollar question here is why did Honey know this but not me, your boyfriend?"
What the fuck, Honey?!
"Karrueche, do you even understand how I feel that you not only disappeared but you told her and not me?! Am I not good enough?! Did you not trust me?! What is it, Kae?!" I flinched at his final statement and began to stutter.
"Baby, I knew you would try to stop me or come with me. I couldn't let you mess up my plan."
"What?!" Chris yelled causing tears to form in my eyes. Why is he so mad? I did this for him. For us. I swallowed hard wiping my tears.
"Chris, calm down."
"Why the fuck should I? My girlfriend not only disappeared without a word, but hold up! She did say a word! To fucking Honey and not me! Karrueche, you can't say I don't deserve to be upset! You basically showed me that you couldn't trust me."
"I didn't say that!" I screamed.
"But you fucking did! Through your actions!" Chris scoffed getting off my doorstep and walking away as tears rolled down my cheeks.
Jasmine
I got one question.
Who the fuck does August think he is?
This nigga denies our child, abandons me during my pregnancy, and now has the nerve to try to be a good father? My son is in the damn ICU fighting for his damn life due to him being premature and he lays this bullshit on me. Not only must i worry about the condition of my son, I gotta worry about a fucking court date. I’m only 18. God help me.
I was speechless when August said that and walked out the room. I looked back at my baby Nicky in his incubator one more time before exiting the room and being faced with my sister.
“So how’s my nephew?” Heather asked looking in my eyes to detect any emotion.
I shrugged slightly and looked through the translucent screen. “Doctors say he’s doing pretty ok but soon they have to remove the breathing tube to see if he can breathe on his own.”
Heather squeezed my shoulder coming next to me. “And he will breathe on his own. God got us.”
I scoffed turning to take a seat and put my face in my hands. “God don’t like me, Heather. I’ve been a shitty person to everyone and now he’s punishing me through my son.......and August.” I sighed at his name.
Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion. “What do you mean? Are you still salty August’s the fath-”
“No!” Heather stepped back at my outburst. “I’m “salty” because August is taking me to court for full custody of Nick!”
“But you wanted to give Nick up for adoption. Instead of him going to strangers, he’s going to his dad. What’s the problem, Jazz? Not to sound harsh, but you didn’t want him.”
I stood up out of my chair with anger evident. “Ok I did! I’m 18! I freaked out! However, there’s no way in hell August is taking him!”
“So are you gonna do?” Heather asked with her arms folded across her chest.
I turned to give her a wry smile. “I’m gonna beat his ass in court. Nick is coming home with me.”
Chris
*Buzz*
Wifey: Chris, come on!
*Buzz*
Wifey: Babyyyyyy
*Buzz*
Wifey: Please talk to me.
*Buzz*
Wifey: Christopher, you can be mad at me but you’re not leaving me. You got me fucked up if you think that.
I couldn’t help but smirk at that last message but I quickly wiped it off my face. I haven’t spoke to Kae in 2 days since she came back so this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is her routine whenever I’m upset with her. Well, it’s my routine too. We’re both Tauruses.
But on a more serious note, she can’t blame me for being angry with her. Baby girl disappeared, didn’t say shit, got me worrying my balls about her, and just gonna show up like “Hey! You want some chicken?” Like hell yeah I want some chicken, but I really want to know why the fuck you up and leave me like that? I would just really like her to put herself in my shoes. If I disappeared without word and showed up like a black Houdini with some chicken, she’d rock my shit and eat the chicken.
Anything could’ve happened to her and I wouldn’t have a clue, but she’s acting like I’m tripping.
*Buzz*
This woman is persistent. I glance at my phone.
Wifey: Good night, baby. Even though you’re angry with me.
I sighed locking my phone and turning over to go to sleep.
“So, Chris,” Honey plopped a seat between me and Ty looking straight at me. “When are you going to talk to Kae?”
I glared at Honey and bit into my fry. I gave her the ultimate look saying “Fuck off” and looked at Ty saying to collect his girl.
“Uh, baby. Chris is still upset about the thing” Ty cleared his throat while grabbing her waist. Honey rolled her eyes scoffing.
“Chris, it’s been 3 days.”
I got up from the table and discarded my trash in the trash bins. I met Kae’s gaze as I turned to leave the cafe. She slowly got up and approached me and I wanted to walk away from her. She gets a nigga tight, She managed to push every one of my fucking buttons, but I can’t walk away from her. No matter how much she hurt me.
This girl will be the fucking death of me.
Kae stared at her interlocked fingers before looking straight up at me. “Hey.”
No response.
She sighed. “I realize you’re still upset but if you want to, I need help moving into Ro’s place. The boys are gonna be there helping and i figured my boyfriend would want to help too.” She shrugged staring up at me sheepishly. “If I still have one....”
You make my balls itch but I still love your ass.
I thought it but i’m not going to say it. Yeah my ass is being petty. I didn’t hear her for a while, Why should she hear mine?
“I haven’t seen you for days, Chris. I miss you so much” Kae whispered.
Go find Honey and tell her this. Since you can’t tell me shit.
“Please just say something. At least let me know you’re gonna be there.”
I want to be there but you keep pushing me away when I get close
Once again, I remained silent. I turned around and walked out of the cafe putting my hood over my head.
Later on that day, I decided to go over Kae’s sister’s place. Part of me wants to help Kae with this big change but the other part is so fucking pissed and hurt. I parked a block away and watched my friends help Kae with her stuff moving in. My feet wouldn’t allow me to get out and help.
She left me. She left me freaking out and worried. We were not even on god terms when she left. Does she have any damn idea how guilty I felt knowing I said what I said and she disappeared the next day? And she told Honey like I’m not her damn boyfriend, I can’t walk up there and act like we ain’t got no fucking issues because we do. It’s not just this situation. It’s the situation of ever since she brought her ass back to Tappahannock. She somehow always finds a way to push me away.
I put my car in drive and stepped on the gas.
I got pushed too far now.
Karrueche
I breathed deeply and continued up the pathway to Chris's house. He hasn't spoken to me in days. He was nowhere to found when I needed help to move into my sister's place. Had to get help from Ty, Trell, and Trey. Even fucking Devante offered. Where was my boyfriend? Mad at me for doing the right thing for us.
I slowly brought my right fist to the door and banged on it with my left hand holding the stuffed Pikachu he gave us on our first date. His car was home but his mom's wasn't so I knew he was home.
"Chris, open the door!" I demanded with my voice cracking. I heard some rumbling behind the door and Chris opened the door looking tired. He folded his arms and leaned against the doorframe.
"What do you want, Karrueche?" He spat as if my name was ash in his mouth. I shook my head trying to keep my anger at bay.
"Are you gonna keep punishing me? Even though I apologized many times, you gave me the silent treatment for days, you ignore my phone calls and texts, dodge me at school, etc. You weren't even there to help me move. I just want to know if you're done now?"
Chris began to chuckle sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.
"What? Did you trust me to be there to help me move? You suddenly trust me now?"
"Oh My God! Chris, shut up! Seriously!" I burst out. "I'm sorry! I'm fucking sorry I didn't tell you! Chris, I trust you! I do! You know more about me than Honey does!"
"No you don't, Kae. And I'm not even sure if I trust you." That tore into my heart. "Chris-" "Come on. It's obvious you don't trust me. You not trusting me made me not not trust you. You could be doing anything but I can trust Honey would know. We don't trust each other. If we don't trust each other, we don't work."
"Wait what the fuck are you saying? Chris, we do work!" He shook his head.
"If we don't have trust, we don't have love."
"So now you don't love me?" I can't believe what I'm hearing. "Are we breaking up. He came In closer.
"Kae, I don't want to be in a relationship where there is no trust and im questioning everything."
Tears began to form and I sniffled. "Maybe we weren't meant to be together. Maybe just-"
Before I knew what I was doing, I threw the Pikachu hard as fuck in his face.
"WE ARE FUCKING MEANT TO BE! Fuck you Chris! I love you so much and you're telling me this bullshit! I can't believe-" I paused shaking my head. "Fuck it. I hate you." I snarled walking towards my house in anger and tears. I then stopped in my tracks and turned around returning to him.
“No! Fuck that! I love you, Christopher and you can be mad, but you’re going to cool the fuck off and you’re going to talk me because that’s what people in relationships do. We don’t throw what we have away over some misunderstanding and miscommunication. We fucking talk. So you can be mad but you’ll always be mine and I’ll always be yours. Don’t you ever forget that.” I finished with a deep exhale and stared intensely at him.
Chris took my head gently and softly kissed my forehead. He looked down at me with a faint smile moving a hand to my waist.
“I’d rather argue with you than be with someone else. I’m so pissed at you but I can’t let you go. I don’t know why I suggested it. I’m sorry, mama.”
I rested my head against his chest smiling. “I’m sorry too. Now give me some sugar.” I got on my tip toes and pursed my lips. His lips met mine and everything felt alright.
The next morning, Sevyn went to the Carter mansion and found Robyn in the game room playing Nintendo Wii. She took a deep breath and walked over to the sitting area.
"Hey, what's up?" Robyn asked, barely looking up at her sister-in-law.
"What are you going to do about Chris?" Sevyn asked, her tone demanding as she placed her hands on her small hips.
Robyn frowned. "What about him? He's upstairs taking a shower."
Sevyn rolled her eyes and grabbed the remote control, hastily switching off the television so she could have her full attention. "I'm talking about Onika. Chris and August are obsessed with her! Doesn't that bother you?"
Sitting up on the sofa, Robyn looked at her with annoyance evident on her face. "I don't know about you, Sevyn, but my marriage is rock solid. I don't have to wonder what Chris is doing every minute of the day. If that's the way you and August's marriage is, then I'd consider seeing a therapist." She got up to walk out of the room when Sevyn pulled her back.
"It doesn't bother you at all that our husbands spend every minute of the day with her?" she asked, shaking her head in dismay. "My marriage is secure too, but I still think it's suspicious. I would think you of all people would see right through it. You don't trust anybody. I mean, look at the way you warned everyone against Beyonce. And you were right. She took off and left your father."
"Yes, I was right about Beyonce," Robyn beamed proudly. "But you're dead wrong about Chris. He loves me and he would never do anything to hurt me. August, on the other hand, has always been a playboy. I don't know how your marriage has survived this long. So if anyone has anything to worry about, it's you."
With that, she turned and stormed out of the room, leaving Sevyn alone with a look of frustration on her face. Why was Robyn turning a blind eye to what was going on? Onika was trying to steal their husbands away from them and she couldn't care less.
Sevyn bounded out of the room and down the hallway to the foyer. Before she could open the front door to leave, Chris came down the stairs and called after her. She turned and stopped dead in her tracks, eager to confront him. "What's going on with you and Onika?" she insisted, her eyes menacing.
Chris frowned as he came off the last stair and stopped before her. "What do you mean?" he asked. "Nothing's going on with me and Onika."
"All August ever talks about is Onika. Onika this and Onika that." Sevyn threw her arms up in resignation. "Well I'm sick of it!"
Folding his arms across his lean chest, Chris looked down at her. "I'm Onika's manager," he said. "So obviously I have to spend time with her. But that's the extent of our relationship."
"Oh please!" she exclaimed.
Suddenly an idea occurred to him. He realized that if he fueled Sevyn's suspicions, maybe she would confront August about it and he would have to reassure her by spending less time with Onika. If that happened, his problems would be over. The jealousy he felt over their closeness would be a dead issue.
"Whatever is going on with August and Onika is something else all together," he continued. "I know they spend a lot of time together when I'm not around, but I guess you'll have to ask him about that yourself."
He turned and started down the hall, smiling wickedly. After just a few steps he heard Sevyn race out of the house and slam the door shut behind her.
Mission accomplished.
That night at the Valley Beach Club, the restaurant was quickly filling with customers in anticipation of Onika's debut. Chris was rushing around the dining room, ensuring that every last detail was taken care of. When Marjorie Stahl arrived with several other reporters from Rolling Stone and other big industry magazines, he spent a few minutes telling them how lucky they were to have received tickets for such a highly anticipated event.
"Onika's going to be a star!" he said repeatedly to reporters from People and Billboard magazine. He figured if he was going to make a go of living life on the straight and narrow, he might as well put all he had into it. There was definitely money to be made with Onika.
Walking across the room, he felt someone grab his arm and he spun around with a toothy smile, prepared for anything. Except for....
"You didn't show up last night," Karrueche hissed, glaring at him and pointing her finger inches from his eyes.
Her sudden appearance threw him into a panic. This night was much too important to have her ruin it for him. "What are you doing here?" he whispered, grabbing her small arm and pulling her out into the lobby of the restaurant.
"I told you that if you didn't come to my motel room last night with the money, I was going to make you very sorry!" she shrieked. "I swear I'll tell the police where to find you, Julian. You'll go to jail and whatever life you've assumed this time will be over."
"Would you keep your voice down," Chris demanded, gripping her arm tightly.
Neither of them noticed Onika watching them from behind a pillar in the lobby, dressed for her performance in a blue sequined gown and hearing every word they said.
"I'll get you your money. I've kind of had my hands full. Now go back to your motel room and wait for me there. I'll bring it by tonight after the show."
Karrueche shook her head in frustration. "What show?" she asked, looking in at the crowd of people gathered into the restaurant. "What exactly are you doing here, anyway?"
"I told you, I'm starting a new life here," he insisted. "Now leave before you ruin it for me."
Karrueche shrugged his hand off of her arm and pulled away. "Leave you alone so you can get away with murder?" she asked in disbelief. "I don't think so. I'm going in there and telling everyone what a fraud and phony you really are."
She turned and started back into the dining room. Chris watched her with wide eyes, sweat pouring from his forehead.
Meanwhile, at the Carter mansion, Sean was sitting in his study when Leilani entered and got his attention. "There's a Mr. Sallis here to see you," she said.
"Thank you, Leilani," he replied, standing up as Cutty Sallis walked into the study, briefcase in hand.
Sean walked around his desk and shook the man's hand. "Thank you for coming so quickly, Mr. Sallis," he said. "I realize it's a bit unorthodox to hold a business meeting this late, but I understand you're leaving for the east coast in the morning."
"I take it your calling me has something to do with the offer I made you the other day in your office," Sallis said.
Hesitating for a minute, Sean finally nodded and walked over to his desk. "I've decided to take you up on your offer, " he said. "That is, if H&Q Consolidated is still willing to loan me the money."
"The terms of the loan will remain as we discussed," Sallis replied. "I cannot alter them, Mr. Carter."
Sean nodded regretfully. "Twenty percent interest, and Rocafella Studios as collateral." The high interest rate he could deal with, but putting his studio up as loan security made his stomach turn flips. It was a risky endeavor, but he had no choice. He had to get that money to pay Terrance Howard back.
Sallis opened his briefcase and removed a set of contracts. He handed them to Sean and them showed him the check. "Sign on the places indicated," he said, pointing to several pages of the document.
Sean took a deep breath, picking up a pen and watching his hand trembling uncontrollably as he brought it down to the paper. Closing his eyes, he tried to think of the bind he was in. He had no other alternative but to go with H&Q Consolidated's offer.
Deciding he couldn't put it off any longer, he pressed down with the pen and quickly signed his name on all three pages. Slamming the pen onto the desk, he grabbed the check from Sallis and looked at it, somewhat relieved. He had to keep telling himself that it didn't have to be a big deal. He would simply pay it back and everything would work out fine. His studio would never feel the brunt of it.
"It's been a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Carter," Sallis said, shaking his hand and starting to the door.
"Same to you," he replied. "Leilani will show you out, Mr. Sallis."
After he'd left, Sean walked to the window and stared outside at the night sky. With a sense of relief, he picked up the phone on his desk and dialed Terrance Howard. "Terrance, it's Sean," he said into the receiver. "I've got your money."
Michael sat behind his desk at Jaguar Studios, swiveling back and forth in his chair as he gulped down a scotch neat. He looked up when the door opened and Cutty Sallis walked inside, handing him a few pieces of paper.
"He signed it?" Michael asked, smiling with exhilaration as he leafed through the contract.
"I just came from his house," Sallis replied.
Michael stood up, staring at the contract baring Sean's signature. "Poor Sean," he began. "If he only knew who he was actually borrowing this money from."
"Where did you come up with the name H&Q Consolidated, anyway?" Sallis asked, pouring himself a drink.
Michael snatched the glass away from him. "The phonebook," he replied."You can go now. I didn't hire you to drink my booze. I hired you because I needed an actor to play a part."
The actor shrugged and left the office, leaving Michael behind with a triumphant look on his face. Finally he would get his ultimate revenge on Sean Carter. It was only a matter of time now. Soon he would have control of his beloved Rocafella Studios.
Chris grabbed Karrueche's arm and pulled her back into the lobby at the club, covering her mouth with his hand to keep her from screaming. She struggled to get free of his grasp as he carried her across the lobby and threw her into a utility closet.
"What do you think you're doing?" she screamed, pounding on the door.
"I'm sorry to have to do this to you, Kae," he said, looking around for something to brace the door with. He grabbed a chair and propped it underneath the doorknob. "But I can't have you ruining my big night."
"You can't leave me in here, you bastard!" she shrieked. "I swear to God I'll scream my head off until someone lets me out!"
Chris sighed with frustration and rushed to the DJ booth in the restaurant, turning the volume up on the music that was being piped through the sound system. Hopefully no one would be able to hear her yelling from the closet. As soon as the night was over, he'd let her out and deal with her then.
He turned around just as August and Sevyn approached him, dressed in their best evening attire. "Everything looks great so far," August said, looking around happily at the crowd who had gathered to hear Onika's debut. "You really outdid yourself, man. Did you know there's a reporter here from Rolling Stone?"
Chris gave him a cocky smile. "Of course. I told you I'd make sure all the right people were here to see her."
"I have to give you credit," August said, shaking his hand. "You've earned your mark as her manager."
Sevyn rolled her eyes and broke away from his side. She didn't even know why she came tonight. She was miserable. Everywhere she turned people were talking about Onika and what a great discovery she was. They made it sound like she was the best thing since sliced bread.
She turned and saw Onika herself making a b-line across the room to where August was standing. She looked upset, and of course he was all too happy to console her with an arm around her shoulder and his usual seductive bedroom eyes transfixed on her. He didn't know when to turn it off, Sevyn thought to herself.
"I need to talk to you," Onika whispered to August, watching Chris out of the corner of her eyes. She didn't know what was going on with him and the girl he'd been arguing with in the lobby, but something was up. She knew it.
"You're not getting nervous, are you?" he asked.
Onika shook her head. "No, it's about Chris." She always knew there was something fishy about her manager, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Then yesterday he started asking questions about her relationship with August. Now she just saw him turn pale as a ghost when that girl showed up. It all seemed suspect to her.
"He's done a great job tonight, don't you think?" August asked, looking around at the restaurant buzzing with activity. "Can you believe he put this whole thing together himself? Onika, there are reporters here from every industry magazine. Your name is going to be on everyone's lips come tomorrow."
She managed a smile, realizing that she did have a lot to look forward to. And as suspicious as she was about Chris, she did owe a lot of it to him. Maybe she was being a little too judgmental about his shady personality.
"So what about Chris?" August asked. "Is everything okay?"
Onika nodded and smiled. "Yeah. I just wanted to thank you both for everything you've done for me."
August pulled her into a friendly embrace. "I'm just happy that your dreams are going to come true," he said.
Across the room, Sevyn glared at them, balling her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white. After what Chris said to her earlier that day, she was more suspicious about August and Onika's relationship than ever. She'd held her tongue so far, but she could only hold it in so long before she burst.

35 | I Belong To You
Six months.
It had been six months with her and now he had gotten to the point to where he knew that he wanted her in his life forever. With that knowledge being no secret between the two of them or anyone who had encountered them, he just wanted to go forth with the next step in their progression.
Six month anniversaries were huge, because that meant that he was worth taking a chance on. If it wasn't for the spontaneous life decision that got kicked off during an interesting time in her life, their paths never would have crossed. He hated to admit that despite the fact that he had been interested in her since he met her, he wished they would have met in some other way...
But he had no regrets. Now that he was here, he wanted nothing more than to continue building the future with the one woman who didn't judge him for any of his decisions. She embraced his life with enough acceptance to shift it into her own, and unlike the other two situations that led him into having a wife, this one was different.
This one was perfect for him.
He had to smile to himself as he swung around the corner to grab the door. He opened it and smiled as more people arrived, more family members, more friends he'd made in his short time of being here, and then, Rorrey, her brother.
“Hey!” Chris embraced him in a half hug after he closed the door.
It had been a minute since he saw him, but he knew tonight was different and everyone's excitement levels were high. Rorrey smiled at Chris as he looked around the foyer, and passed him the bottle of Rum he had in his hands.
“So what's up, is tonight the night?” Rorrey questioned, and Chris smiled a little bit. It was like everyone knew, but he still had some tricks of his own up his sleeve, so he kept his mouth closed.
“It might be.” His smile grew bigger as Rorrey ran his hand down his face.
Chris enjoyed the time he spent with Rorrey after their first encounter, and the many he'd had since he moved out to Barbados. He was looking forward to whatever the summer had to hold for the two of them, especially after he was a part of their family on a permanent basis.
“I have faith in you man... you managed to bring her home. I see the smiles you put on her face and I like that. It's been six months and now you're about to have her forever. Don't fuck it up.” Rorrey chuckled as Chris shook his head at the thought.
“I wouldn't dare.” Rorrey smiled and Chris relaxed a little as he hugged the boy, and Rorrey shook his hand.
“You're going to be a great addition to the fam, bro.” Rorrey insisted as he caught a glimpse of his sister a few feet away, and he walked off to catch up with her.
As Rorrey walked away, Chris took a deep breath and went back upstairs to continue dressing. As he hit the second floor and stood in the middle of his previously abandoned spot in the walk in closet, he had the chance to finally stop and think about the night.
Since it had finally hit the six month mark, he knew that after tonight, things were about to change for the better. It had been six whole months of him and Robyn together, and all he could think about was what the future had in store for the two of them.
He knew tonight was the night – the night in which he was going to propose to her, ask her to be in his life forever, and it was going to be great. It wasn't going to be a Vegas cop out. It wasn't going to be some quickie that was going to end up in annulment and an eventual heartbreak. This one was going to last. It going to be step one of the rest of their lives together. It would have honestly terrified any one else, but he had finally found peace within his choices.
Yet, to be honest, Christopher never imagined himself being married three times.
The whole “third time's the charm” phrase never really meant anything to him, because he had never been the type to do things three times over. It was always one time and done, and he rarely gave second chances for anything. A third engagement and eventual wedding was never in the cards back when he broke things off with Karrueche.
It was never something he figured he'd endure for a third time, especially after considering how the last two engagements and weddings set the tone for a slew of life experiences that he'd rather not relive with someone else.
The only upside to everything was that he knew that she was different.
Robyn was something totally different on so many levels, and he honestly still pinched himself when he was alone 'cause there was no way he should have been so lucky. She was nothing like the last two women he could call his “wife”, and for that, he was eternally thankful.
He definitely didn't see this relationship being anything other than an absolute blessing, and the last thing he wanted to do was ruin things by not setting a strong base for the two of them to build off of. After all of the hard work and dedication he had put into the relationship that he had formed with her, he didn't want all of this to seem like a waste of time.
That's why he knew she had to be around for good. She balanced him. She made things make sense. He was excited about everything. As he looked around, he smiled as he grabbed the ring box out of its hiding place and tucked it into his pocket.
Tonight was definitely the night.
This move to Barbados was only the start of the new life that would come with the redirection of his life. This new stage, one that sparked an epiphany since leaving Cabo, was just the start of things for not only his future, but the future of Press Play, and the future of his relationships, both personal, and on a business level.
The game was all about power plays, both behind and in front of the scenes, and he was setting himself up to execute plenty of those. Putting Robyn in the top spot was Press Play's biggest star and eliminating anyone tied to Rueche was only the beginning.
Christopher planned everything to the tee, and at the end of the day, he had no regrets about anything lost in the transition, or anyone who didn't seem like they would fit in with the way things were going. He had promised himself that with this new step forward in life, he wasn't going to regret anything he'd done in the past to set himself up for a lifetime of comfort to come.
He had a lot to plan for but he knew none of it would be worth it without setting up the proper procedures to make sure that everything went as planned, and in turn, it left him to be just as stressed out as he was when he came back from Cabo.
The last thing he wanted anyone to do was think that this wasn't what he wanted.
It was.
This was everything that he wanted.
There was this sense of finality, of doors to be closed and new ones to be opened, and most of all, completion that would come with this union. He was excited about the fact that this would be kicked off with a real proposal, like he had always imagined he'd be able to pull off. It was only the beginning of everything else that would come with the new chapter that was to lie ahead for him.
He was determined to make this work, and for him, that meant taking out the time and dedication to plan everything effectively in order for no stone to be left unturned. Everything would start with the proposal.
The setup was perfect.
It would all start with dinner, which was always an unsuspecting way to invite family and friends over. Robyn knew that eventually, she would share his last name, be his wife, and they would go on as a couple until the end of time. She knew it was coming. They had talked about it a lot, but as far as proposals went and anything leading up to that, she had no idea as to what he was going to actually do.
That's what made the dinner part perfect. It was something harmless and that had already been pulled off since they'd landed, seem so unsuspecting. Kyle had laid out a spread large enough to feed their entire staff and their families as well, and Chris had gone the extra mile and invited them out too.
The Villa was filled with bodies, family, friends, and staff, all dressed in their best and he was ready to put on a show that was going to be cemented in the memories of everyone until the wedding topped it. Having family and friends from both sides in one place, this gathering doubled as a housewarming party.
His nerves were on ten, but he knew that all he had to do was act natural. As he made his way downstairs and spotted Robyn, smiling and happy, he knew now wasn't the time. He had to get his head together first.
He grabbed some food from the table setup, and walked around, hugging and talking to people that passed him by. Everyone was excited, everyone was enjoying themselves, and he couldn't help but to smile. When his Mom resurfaced from the terrace, and he saw how happy she was to just be here, he couldn't help but smile.
He was elated when his mother winked at him, and he found the majority of his family in the kitchen, eating to their hearts content. Chris stole one of Elle's pieces of kiwi before poking her in the side, and he settled against the counter. He looked around and got a good look at everyone, and noted the various states of content that everyone was in.
Cam and Barry were quietly talking things over with Ethan, and Byron was in the midst of fixing his tie. He smiled as he noted Chris seemed to be in a better state than he was earlier, when they first arrived.
“At least you're not shaking anymore,” Byron teased as Chris smiled a little, wondering where Robyn had disappeared to.
“That was temporary, man, only temporary. Have you guys seen Robyn?” He inquired as they all shot back various responses, and he set off to go find her on his own.
He passed some of her cousins playing pool, he noticed that the living room was occupied by a bunch of familiar faces, and he witnessed some of his employees hanging out in the yard, but he didn't see her – and it scared him.
His heartbeat increased as he wanted to figure out where she was, and fast. Some off feeling of trepidation caught up to him as he continued scouring the grounds until finally – he found her.
His heart was caught in his throat when he approached her. She had her eyes closed and her head tilted back, and didn't see him coming. She was sitting on one of the oversized orange chairs near the infinity pool, and he couldn't tell if she was tuckered out, or if she was sleeping.
He stopped and praised the stars in silence before he walked over to the chair, and sat down next to her. He hated the feeling from the pit of his stomach that had him worrying – had him feeling like she wasn't okay.
“You out here hiding, or what?” He asked as she opened her eyes, and shook her head. She motioned for him to come closer, and he wrapped his arms around her waist as he did.
“You made me nervous, I thought you ran off on me.” He pouted as she smiled softly and rested her head against his chest. He felt so comfortable with her resting against him that the party behind them started to taper off as something he was no longer focused on.
“I just needed some air.” She admitted as he gripped her hand, and she sighed softly.
“There's something I've got to tell you,” She started, and he pressed his lips together, and quickly sat up to look at her.
He inhaled softly as she turned towards him, and he ran his fingertips down her arm. He got a good glimpse of her body language and she seemed calm and at peace, but he wasn't too sure about where this conversation was about to take him.
“You okay? You're scaring me a little, Robyn.” He asked as he settled next to her.
“I'm good, I promise I am. No bad news or anything here. I just wanted you to know that whatever happens tonight, I'm all in. I'm so excited for the future and for us that I can barely handle anything else...” She started, and he licked his bottom lip as he looked at her, and she looked back, reflecting adoration in her tear tinted gaze.
“I never thought that I'd meet someone who'd give me anything and everything I ever wanted. I never thought it'd be like this, simply 'cause I'd find that type of connection out in Los Angeles... not for a long time.” She shook her head fiercely, and he smiled.
“Believe me. I'm the lucky one in this situation. You know that.”
“Whatever... I have to admit that you surprised me... and as much as I know you're in love with me, I'm so glad that it's not just the thought of me.. I'm so glad that I'm not fetishized or that you're bound by some objectification of me as a sexual being...” She inhaled softly and he wiped the tears from her face.
He wanted to chuckle because he knew her head had been filled with the bad side of what could have come from their relationship, and it wasn't like that. She had met a lot of people following their excursion to Miami, and he knew that not everyone could have a good experience in the industry.
He had seen and heard about a bunch of the horror stories first hand, but underneath the imagery of being in porn, he was still a man, deep at his core – and there was nothing more he loved and adored than the woman in front of him, silently thanking her decisions for being ones that worked in her favor, and not against her.
“You know I never had any intentions to ruin your character or personality. You know I've been brought there on other occasions but with you, something clicked. It's been nothing but positive progression and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. I love you too much to ruin you.” He pecked her lips softly as she smiled at him and pressed her forehead against his.
“I love you. I love you because you brought me home. Because you were willing to do whatever it took to let me get my fantasies out of my system, as well as never crippling my dreams in the process. You allow me to be me, and give me what I want without leaving me to desire anything else. There's a balance... I give you the same thing. It works for us. That's why I know we're going to be great together.” She spoke softly as he ran his fingertips through her hair, and let her voice lull him into a sense of serenity.
“The promise of having someone by your side for good is such a good feeling to have.. a feeling of absolute completion... These last six months have given me everything I wanted and a bunch of shit I never even thought I'd want until the opportunity was given... If I was given the opportunity to go back and rethink this, I wouldn't. I wouldn't change anything.” He smiled as she pressed her lips against his, and it caught him off guard for a second.
He knew where her kisses pulled him to, and despite a house full of people behind him, he didn't resist giving into a good and slow kiss. It was one of those kisses that made his stance to staighten up, and his body to stiffen as he pulled her into him, and allowed her legs to tuck behind his back as he pulled her into a straddle.
“I've just been out here thinking about how good you've been to me...I just want it to last.” She sighed and he pulled back, and cupped her face in his hands. He pecked her lips and she bit his bottom lip and he shivered as he gripped her ass in his hands, and suddenly, she stopped.
“What? I'm pretty sure we're secluded enough to where no one's going to run up on us if we keep going.” He insisted as she pushed back gently and sat on his legs. He watched her hand go for his pocket, and he froze.
“What's in your pocket?”
“Nothing.”
“Something. I felt it.”
“That's my dick,” He pursed his lips and she moved off of him completely, and narrowed her eyes at him.
He knew she didn't believe him. But... now wasn't the time.
He sat up and looked at her as she pulled him up, and they stood face to face. He pressed his lips against hers and she laughed and tried to get into his pocket as they kissed, and he turned her around to face away from him.
“Chris, empty your pockets.” She teased and he shook his head no. She folded her arms across her chest and he shook his head softly.
“Nope. We're not doing it like this.” He insisted as she looked at him, and he shook his head again.
“I want it to be right. And I mean right. I'm talking about, me getting down on my knees, and not just to do this,” He put her leg over his shoulder and she laughed loudly as he kissed the inside of her thighs, and she planted her foot in the middle of his chest and made him fall back into the grass.
“You're not going to ask me now, are you?” She inquired as he rolled his eyes softly and struggled to get up.
“Lighting's not right. I'll try again later.” He chuckled as he stretched his hand out, and silently requested for her to help him up.
When she stuck her hand out, he pulled her down into the grass and pressed his lips against her forehead, and she sighed against his chest.
“Be patient, and your patience will be rewarded.” He promised as she smiled, and he finally got up from the ground and pulled her up with him.
“C'mon. We have a house full of people to entertain,” He insisted as he dusted her off and took her hand in his before heading back to the house, with the box still weighing down his pocket.
….
Kyle's dinner spread had everybody full, especially after snacking on appetizers and small plates for the evening. The long table was filled with various members of both families, friends, associates, and anyone and everyone who meant something to them, and to him, this was perfect timing.
Bottles were passed up and down the table, his siblings were unwinding, and his parents were mingling with hers and nobody had a complaint. He was glad that everything was working out the way it was, and he laughed when Kyle served desserts and gave her a special piece of cheesecake, and he wasn't able to hold back his laugh when she started to stab and dissect the slice of cake with her knife and fork, 'cause he knew what she was looking for, but it wasn't there.
“You think I'd put it in the cake? Girl, I'm not trying to make you choke.” He shook his head, and when she looked back at him, he mouthed, “not on cake...”
She laughed and rolled her eyes, but he was glad that she was a good sport about all of this. He appreciated that, 'cause deep down, he was nervous as hell. Dinner progressed and he got progressively more comfortable and a little bit buzzed as he claimed two drinks to go with his dinner, and across the table from him, Robyn was just as sauced.
The housewarming party wasn't over just because dinner was done, but many of their party goers had deserted the table in favor of piling gifts up in the living room. He was still eating alcohol drenched fruit as the once heavily occupied table thinned out, and knew that he was waiting on her to finish before he made his next move.
As she finished a bowl of macaroni with her feet in his lap and her toes circling his dick, he dropped his head because he knew this woman was worth holding on to. She was all he could think about as he ate, and his dessert triggered a memory between the two of them that he wanted to revisit.
It seemed like a better time than none in that moment.
“You nasty,” He mouthed to her as she smirked at him and motioned a dick in her jaw, and he laughed loudly as he swallowed down the end of his drink.
He held his finger up to give her the universal sign to hold on as he pushed his chair back gently, and adjusted himself in his shorts before coming up to stand behind her chair.
“Meet me in the kitchen,” He whispered as she nodded and he turned towards the table, and smiled.
As everyone began to request after dinner entertainment, he made sure they knew to head out back, where live music had been playing for the last hour or so.
“I know everyone's full thanks to Kyle, but if you're interested in dancing off all that food, my boy, my best friend, my big brother Barry has some songs he wants to play while he convinces ya'll to spend your money on him,” Chris insisted as he tapped his fingertips against Robyn's chair, and watched the table clear as Barry laughed and led everyone out.
His parents got up and followed Robyn's parents outside. Ethan was plotting on one of Robyn's cousins, and Elle chuckled as she circled the table to ask Amber a question, but not before she stopped to get a good look at Chris.
“Crotch, you're gone, huh?” Elle joked as she looked over her shoulder at her brother before exploding into chuckles and heading outside.
He gave her the finger and sat back down, and swallowed down an untouched glass of water before looking at Robyn expectantly. As the dining table cleared and Robyn finished her bowl, Chris pulled her chair out as she stood up and stretched before following him into the kitchen.
She let him lead the way and thankfully, it was empty. None of the staff had used this kitchen to cook or would use it to clean either – they had been rerouted to the eat in kitchen, leaving the galley kitchen right off the entertainment room empty. It was filled with all the liquor, fruit, and appetizer plates from earlier though, and Chris had his eyes set on the rest of Kyle's liquor infused fruits.
Robyn hopped up on the counter as he looked at her, and filled the gap between her legs as he went for a plate of berries..
“Open up,” He instructed as he gave her a strawberry, and she bit into it, and he flicked his tongue across her chin to get the juice off.
“You remember that time we went hard with this?” He cheesed as he grabbed a bottle of Cabo Gold Tequila from the bar behind him, and she laughed.
“Uh-huh,” She shook her head as he twisted the cap off, and turned the bottle up to his mouth. She watched the flecks of gold settle before he went for the fruit plate again, and bit into a piece of pineapple.
“That night when we were at your crib and you locked us in... we had a bottle of tequila, some fruit, and each other, and I was thinking to myself like... I can do this everyday for the rest of my life...” He looked up at her, and chuckled a little as he gave her a piece of fruit, and she took the bottle from his hand and took a swig of her own.
“I was in awe of you, like, damn, you're probably a handful for other dudes. Like that lame ass accountant you used to fuck with, with the weak stroke game.” He looked at her, and kissed her lips.
“But not me. You're perfect for me,” He insisted as he gripped her knees, and playfully rocked himself between her legs.
“And we don't even have to be fucking each other for me to know that you and I fit perfectly together. Hand in hand... I fit in this lil' spot right here, and it's enough room for me to get in here,” He tapped her chest, right over her heart, and licked his bottom lip.
“You feel emotionally invested in this?” He raised his eyebrow, and she nodded.
“Absolutely.”
“Yeah?” He smiled as she nodded, and he took another swallow of tequila.
“I just wanted to make sure. I wanted to make sure you hit that moment of clarity and saw things for how they really were, but I know you're not oblivious anymore. You see how I look at you, you know what that means...” He stood back and lifted her up gently, and she wrapped her legs around his waist.
“You know I love you, right?” He inquired softly as she wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close to her.
“Of course I know... I wouldn't doubt it for a second.”
“You're to me everything, Robyn. You are. That's why I know I'm going to enjoy making love to you every night, and then waking up to you every morning,” He winked at her as she smiled, and he pressed his lips against her neck.
“And if our parents weren't out there... I swear to God... you'd be bent, right now, 'cause my dick is hard and I know if we get started now, won't be no stoppin', I feel the tequila hittin' parts of me,” He whispered as he let her go, and she laughed.
“You're buzzed,” She noted as he shook his head.
“Nah! Nah. Nah.” He laughed as he looked at her, and he watched her grab a strawberry, and bring it to his lips. He bit down on it and he laughed as the juice ran down his lips, and she licked it off, which made him grip her thigh.
“You know how you just gotta psych yourself up before you scare the hell out of yourself? I had to calm my nerves... gimme some more fruit.” He felt his cheeks get warm as she slid him another strawberry, and he bit down on it and moaned a little as the strawberry flavored liquor slid down the side of his mouth.
“I wanna taste, share,” She coaxed him towards her as he let her have the rest of it, and she swallowed softly and went right for his lips.
“Babe, I want to go outside, but I swear to God, you're going to make it impossible.” He exhaled through his nose as he kissed her gently, and bit down on her lip as she gripped his shirt, and the kiss got deeper.
“Chill, chill...” He exhaled and tilted his head back as she pressed her lips against his adam's apple, and he shivered. He pressed his hands against her thighs and stepped back from the space he had filled with a laugh.
He took another swallow of the tequila and started to pace the floor. His thoughts became very singular as he held on to what was left of his stability and looked at her.
“You're a handful. But. I can handle you.” He sat the bottle on the table as she got down, and he licked his bottom lip as he stopped her.
“Hold on.” She stopped in her tracks as he looked at her, and admired her.
This was the type of moments he loved... when even if they weren't truly alone, she was all that mattered to him. He looked at her in all that white, with her face all rosy and comfort etched all over her – she looked angelic as hell to him, and there was nothing more he wanted than to get a smile on top of all of it.
She playfully posed with her hand on her hip and pouted as he laughed and held himself up against the counter. He motioned for her to come closer and when she did, he took a deep breath and took her hand in his, and smiled.
“I want this for the rest of my life.” He stroked her hand and kissed it gently, and she smiled at him. He took a deep breath and slid his hand into his pocket, and she ran her hand through her hair as he kept holding on to it, and she closed her eyes slowly.
“C'mon baby, you gotta look at me. Look at me... look at how I look at you. I want this for the rest of my life.” He swallowed softly as he put the ring on her finger, and pressed his lips against her hand again.
“I thought of so many ways to do this... but I wasn't going to let it keep me up at night like when I tried to tell you I loved you. I figured shit, I'm just as anxious about it as you are... but you're sure that you're all in?” He asked, and she nodded gently.
“Yeah, I'm all in... I want this for the rest of my life, and you've gotta give me what I want, you know that, right?”
I rolled my eyes wiping my glasses as another intoxicated patron stumbled towards my bar. If he thinks he’s getting a drink from me, he got another thing coming because that’ll be his sixth and 5 is the limit at The Candy Shop. To avoid even interacting him, I let Jermaine, or how I like to call him, J, my co-worker, deal with it.
The darkskin, fuck boy haircut having ass nigga tapped the counter roughly.
"Can I get a round of shot over here?!" he slurred loudly. I stood in the corner with my book, The Scarlet Letter, in my hand looking expectantly at J.
J turned to the drunk man. “Look man. I can’t serve you any drinks. You’re drunk.”
He scrunched up his nose in response. “Nigga, I wasn’t talking to you! I was talking to that fine ass shorty with her nose in that book! Hey cutie!”
"That’s not my name." I simply replied turning another page of the novel.
"Wanna serve your boy some drinks, beautiful?" He was persistent.
J spoke up frustrated. “Nigga, take a hint! She don’t want you and she ain’t serving you anymore drinks now take your drunk ass home!”
Before Drunkie could shoot something back, the speakers burst in sound.
"Now all you sweet tooth gentlemen, make it to the stage for Chocolate and Caramel!"
From behind the velvet red curtains, Briana appeared on the stage in beige lingerie with Paula, a beautiful darkskin stipper who goes by “Chocolate” As they began their show, J was gazing hard at Bree and I waved my hand in front of his face.
"J, you ok?"
J shook his head. “Yeah. It’s just that Briana-“
"Is so fine. Yeah you indicated that before." I flipped a page in my book.
"I think I’m in love with her."
I looked to see he was dead serious and I burst out laughing dropping the novel that was in my hands.
"That’s funny. J, you’re in lust with her. Not love. Love don’t exist, nigga."
Not wanting to rehash this argument, he moved on.
"Anyway, I’m feeling her, G. But seeing her on that pole make me feel some type of way." J shook his head and began mixing a cocktail. I sighed placing my bookmark in the book and set it down walking up to him.
"You shouldn’t mind. How could you ever trip about it when you met her in the club?"
J sucked his teeth hard playfully. “Usher? Really?”
I let out an airy laugh. “Aight. I’ll stop playing. Look, just tell Bree all that gay shit you feeling. She probably feels the same.”
J smiled hard. “Really?”
"Shit, nigga. I don’t know. You ain’t gonna find out talking to me." I dismissed myself from the bar traveling to tables picking up glasses. There was a discarded blue t-shirt left on one table. I turned it over and my eyes began to burn at the letters that were decorated in front.
U, C, L, A. UCLA.
I closed my eyes tossing the shirt aside and continued my work. I’m over it now.
Jayden
"Come on, Jasmine. Do you really want my dad’s company to go under? Stay with us."
I was practically begging, something I usually don’t do, my cousin to stay at Carter Records. She told me she thought about leaving which could not happen because we lose money and our public image is tainted.
"I don’t know, ok? It seems like everyone is getting attention except me. It’s not fair, Jay."
I sighed agreeing with her. “You’re right. If you stay, I’ll make sure you get more attention. Fuck what Lucious is offering you. Stay with us. Blood is thicker than water.”
"Fine!" Jazz rolled her eyes exasperated and I kissed her cheek in gratitude.
"Thanks, cuz!"
"Hmm whatever. Don’t you got a graduation rehearsal to go to?" She inquired raising an eyebrow.
I straightened out my white button up shaking my head. “Nope. I’m meeting up with Austin and Trevor. Might go into Compton. Check out that strip club there. See if it’s a good place to celebrate graduation.”
Jasmine scrunched up her nose at the mention of a strip club. What do woman have against strippers?
"Eww. Does Alicia know?"
"No…..Don’t tell her."
She scoffed and I looked from side to side and whispered.
"And she also doesn’t know that I’m proposing to her at my graduation party."
Jazz’s eyes widened and she smiled hard hugging me.
"Omg! I’m so happy for you guys!"
"Thanks. Now I got to go." I gave her a slight hug before exiting the studio.
**************
"I’m telling y’all, This strip club is hot! I was here last night." Austin stated as we walked through the pitch black that was illuminated by neon pink and purple lights. The Candy Shop was really living up to its name with the colors and decorations.
"I got so fucked up I left my blue UCLA t-shirt here." Austin scratched his head looking around as Trevor chuckled and snorted.
"Niggaaaaa! That shit is long gone, fam!"
Austin sucked his teeth. “You’re right.”
To be honest, this was my fist time in a strip club but I couldn’t let them know that. They would clown me for that especially since I was already techinally famous.
Suddenly the speakers burst annoucing that bootylicious bubblegum were about to hit the stage. Looking over, I see a bunch of big booty strippers that would make your mouth drop.
"Guys, I’m gonna chill at the bar."
"Nigga, in order to enjoy this, you got to be closer!" Austin indicated running towards the stage area. I looked at Trevor.
"Alicia would kill me if she found out I got within 10 feet of strippers."
Trevor shrugged. “Sounds like a personal problem, cuh.”
I squinted my eyes at him and walked up to the bar taking a seat on the red cushion stool. The bartender was turned so I waited until she was done. She turned locking eyes on me and smirked walking up to me.
"What can I get you?" She had a smooth, sweet but seductive voice. She looked like a caramel colored Asian so I take it that she’s blasian. She had dark wavy hair and black shirt. Very attractive but I’m not checking her out.
"Can I get a water?"
She raised an eyebrow. “You came to a bar asking for water?”
I chuckled at the look on her face. “Fine. How about Sex on a Beach?”
"I would love to." She bit her lip leaning into my face. She was flirting hard and I was flattered.
"Whoa. You’re very beautiful but I have a girlfriend. Well fiancée after graduation."
She pouted disappointed turning around to make the cocktail. “Congrats. Wait, did you say graduation?” She turned back around with the ingredients.
I smiled in a cocky way. “Yes. You’re looking at a future UCLA graduate.”
"Shit must be fucking nice for you, huh, Graduation Boy?" She smirked emotionlessly sliding my drink to me. I took a sip amused.
"Oh so we’re doing nicknames? What’s your name?" I tried to look at her nametag but she covered it still smirking.
"I don’t know yours nor do I care to know yours so you don’t know mine."
"Fine, Bartender." I smirked back as I winked at her slapping a $10 bill on the counter.
So since people wanna waste good urls 😒 (jk....not really)
I finally made the blog for my new fanfics. Because Bad won but there was high demand for Out Of My Mind also, I decided to do both. The link below is the blog on which I will be posting chapters for both fanfics and add more ffs as i go along. So go follow! And I should get started soon.😊 http://thechraechronicles.tumblr.com http://thechraechronicles.tumblr.com http://thechraechronicles.tumblr.com
I got different plots in my head and I need my reader's help in choosing! 1. Sweetheart- Chris is a upcoming R&B singer who signs to a record label. The owner of the label likes Chris but strictly buisness. He meets the daughter of the owner (Karrueche) who's a shy, innocent sweetheart that has an amazing voice but fears pursing a career. Her guy best friend hates Chris . Can they survive in the industry or will the fame and fortune cause Chris to lose his sweetheart? *needs work, I know. And this is a revival of the fanfic i deleted by tht e same name* 2. Truth Or Dare- Chris and Kae get married, go on a honeymoon and live happily ever after ,right? Wrong. She soon finds out her "entrepreneur" husband is really a drug lord and/or taker who has multiple people after him and her. Will she escape the Truth or Dare to a part of it? *another potential plot that needs a lot of work* 3. Bad- *based on Bad by Wale* Karrueche is a girl from the streets. She's street smart and booksmart but fails to show it. She's extremely beautiful but is a very lost soul. Growing with no father, and a mother in abusive relationships, she had no clue what real love is. Every relationship she got into failed because she was bad to them. Never loved them. Never treated them right causing her to be single warning every man who wanted her that she was "bad." Chris, a rich college graduate, who had broken up with his fiancee, meets Kae. She gives her usual warning and what's supposed to be a one night stand turns into a no strings attached relationship which buds into a romance. They both catch feelings but Kae is scared. Can she be good to him or will she continue her reputation of being "bad"? *needs work* 4. Out Of My Mind- Chris is admitted into a mental facility for depression or some other mental issue, idk. But he gets admitted barely getting along with other patients. He hates the facility and tries to leave. He meets a new patient (Karrueche) who seems sane to him until he gets to know her and realizes she needed even more help than he did. She's the only one he bonds with and vice versa . Can their love survive within the walls of a mental facility? Does Chris even know what Love is or is he just out of his mind? *needs work but I've been thinking of it for a while* So help me out and vote on a plot! Whichever one wins, is the one I shall do. Let the voting begin! 😄
