i. never in a million years would you have imagined these two to be classified as friends , let alone best friends. if you remember them from high school , you'd recollect the fiery glares they sent to each other from across the hallways and the almost fist fights breaking out right in the middle of the cafeteria because insu decided that it was fun to harass a student and jamie was not having it.
ii. eventually jamie realised there wasn't much in fighting fire with fire.. and truth be told , she was just curious. curious as to what in the world would a person have to go through to find bullying a cathartic activity and curious enough to actually take the time to get to know the man.
iii. it took a long time and it's still 1 step forward 3 steps back with him but eventually insu became a significant part of her life. through college parties and kickboxing spars , they found common ground ( and some very uncommon ground ) in which no one knew how , but it worked.
iv. don't get her wrong , he drives her mad. possibly more than anyone else because how does one not see the wrongness in say bullying or blackmailing? so blatantly taking advantage of people in front of her very own eyes?? oh she's so confused. would try everything in her power to walk the man off of the ledge , at least for a little while. and for fights she couldn't stop.. well , a first aid kit , her patching him up and a lot of yelling was involved.
v. somewhere along the way , jamie took up his responsibility. it was a big one but someone had to do it. she'd go over all the rights and wrongs with him again and again if it meant that even 1 percent of what she was saying could bring about change. equally would take the blame for his misstep and help rectify it in any way she could. although sometimes it'd get exhausting , jamie could never fathom the idea of giving up on him and on their friendship.
vi. jamie honestly loves doing dumb shit with insu ( as long as they're not hurting anyone of course ). but they really do feel like two siblings who constantly fight and then make up five seconds later , get drunk together and are back to having pretend yugioh duels. big himbo/clown energy for both of them , to be honest.
vii. call jamie crazy but sometimes , she doesn't really understand why everyone is still finds insu scary -- after actually getting to know him , she'd personally call him a goofball at best. just a wack weirdo trying to have a good time. lately maybe the weirdest thing she's heard from him is him being a little drunk and going on about joohyun's feet. -- jamie really doesn't know what to do with this information and just hopes that his feet fetish dies in that moment and they never have to speak of it again.
