I DEF think it's because Marwen bombed! The film is GOLD, but it's just so strange. Mark Hogancamp’s story is too sad. Welcome to Marwen will either be the demise of Zemeckis or it will be the technological stepping stone to make him GREAT again(I haven't seen his Witches remake yet)! Marwen has the most convincing special effects that I've ever seen in a movie! They really solved the problem of making a CG character seem “REAL”!
