So Chris presumably will be in "Doomsday." And what was most people's reaction to that? They obviously didn't like it. 

What I don't get is why people are being this hard on him. Why is it okay for other people, who also said they want to do other things, to go back, but not for him? He never said he didn't want to go back; he even said if it's the right story, he would even come back as Cap. 

I get that he made some questionable choices; I get that we don't like the people with whom he is surrounded, but at the same time, this man can't do anything good. He can't choose a good role, he can't wear a good outfit, and he can't say a good word. Everything he says or does is being ripped apart, and some people ridiculously take things too far. 

I get that those people's behavior and words to whom his name is also connected have to be called out, but it's not what's happening right now. Body shaming and twisting everything is what is happening. This behavior is one of the reasons why other people from different fandoms think it's just jealousy and nothing more. That people in this fandom are just envious of Alba, when there are actual problems with her and her friends that are being called out, but shadowed by people body shaming both of them and criticizing even the way Chris breathes. 

If you hate him and them this much, if you are so over it and have had enough (which I completely understand), then move on and forget them. But what some people are doing is not healthy. 

I'm personally happy that he is coming back; I'm interested in what kind of role he will play, just like I'm excited for RDJ. The OG6 meant and still means a lot to me, and they always will. I'm not trying to baby Chris or defend him; you know, guys, I call him and them out when it's needed, but I think we can all agree that what some people have been saying and doing is not okay. Constructive criticism and straight bullying people are two different things.

I think it's 95% because of the money and it has nothing to do with who he's associated with. Now every time someone says that you guys always ready to defend and say it's because of her. It's not. Just like RDJ, it's not about her. Not everything is connected to her.

This is exactly one of the things that I talked about, that people are mad at him for something they think of him. Not everything is about the money. What if he just liked the role, wanted some nostalgia, or wanted to work with RDJ again? There are so many things that are more important than just money. And those things aren't mutually exclusive. Maybe he gets good money for it, but even if he received less, he would've still said no. 

I didn't say everything is about her; I just talked about how a lot of people in the fandom shit-talk him for everything he does. And that mostly happens because of her. 

Saying is one thing, and being an asshole is another. Everybody can have an opinion and can express it, but it's about the way some people do it.

Respectfully, people are seeing his return to the MCU as a cash grab and nothing more. I feel that people still look at Chris with rose tinted glasses, and he can do no wrong and they will support him no matter what. That mindset is equally as toxic as blanket hatred. If we are being honest, really honest, since the introduction of this whatevership he looks like he's in his glowdown era, like he's lost his essence, his mojo. It is what it is, and if people choose to no longer support his work then so be it because I feel it's a double standard to be outraged at the people who he surrounds himself with but still pay to watch his films which will inevitably support those same racist bigoted people who have now become part of his inner circle. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But why do they? I don't get it. He loved working with Marvel, and he's never said he wouldn't want to go back. Maybe the role they offered to him was interesting; it was something he would've always loved to play. Maybe RDJ convinced him, because he wanted him back. Is it a cash grab from Marvel? Because that's not his fault. But people getting mad at him because of their own interpretation is quite interesting. They think he took the role because of the money, but maybe for him it was about something more.

And I don't know why you think people still see him through rose-tinted glasses. Have you seen what most people say about him? Because it's everything but rose-tinted glasses. The problem here is that there are very few people left who are actually in the middle. You know, those who call him and those people out, but they don't body shame and bully people.

I always say that if you think this is real and you can't support him, it's understandable if you leave. But most of these people stay to bully and body-shame. And sorry, but I will never agree with that.

this whole marvel argument is soooo annoying….

It’s so pointless. There is a possibility, but we can't say anything for sure.

However, I don't really understand those people who are so sure he won't come back solely because he said so. Marvel actors always lie about going back and being in a Marvel movie because they want them to do so. So him saying he won't be in Doomsday, for example, doesn't mean anything. I don’t understand why people expect him to admit even IF he will be in it.
