hey. havent posted here since like. 2024 LMAO im sorry if i stopped being active for so long. didnt have the motivation anymore but now im thinkin of posting my art again- i will say ive changed fandoms & im not too into tekken now so sorry if you followed me for that exclusively. im gonna dump a bunch of metal fight beyblade art from like. 2025-2026 lol (some of these are from ibispaintx but most have been done on mspaint bc my phone's screen is too fucked up for me to draw on it anymore so. yay) also sorry for the booty cheeks quality on some of these

The similarities between Yu and Chris

Yu and Chris are both very strong bladers, in fact one is considered a prodigy and the other later became a legendary blader. They also have similar hairstyles and have rare eye color. Chris's original personality in his flashback doesn't seem too different from Yu, he seemed like an optimistic, positive boy who loved Beyblade.

Both were introduced during a tournament that took place on an island: the Survival Battle and the Beyster Island Championship, which were different from conventional tournaments as they were battle royale.

They made a strong first impression by beating other important bladers. Yu managed to defeat Hikaru, Benkei and Kenta while Chris defeated multiple bladers as well as Zeo and Toby.

Yu and Chris also succeeded in beating a (previous) main character, respectively Ginga and Masamune, allowing them to win the tournament.

They both had a somewhat rocky relationship with Masamune, with Chris calling him Monkey Boy and later mocking him for his loss, while Yu had his battle with Tsubasa interrupted by the Striker owner who also joked about the younger boy being the substitute.

Both have a stamina bey with a free spinning tip. Also it's a big coincidence but Flame Libra and Phantom Orion were released during the month of September.

They were abandoned by a friend/a group of friends during a moment in which they needed support.

Yu and Chris were part of the evil organization of their respective seasons, the Dark Nebula and the Hades Cult, however they would eventually break ties with those organizations and help Ginga. In addition they significantly helped their temporary associates, Yu by allowing Battle Blader to happen and Chris when he lent his power to Nemesis.

Both had a major fight with Ginga that changed their perception of Beyblade at the time and contributed to becoming friends with him.

Personal headcanon time for Chris: Chris was a cowboy or grew up alongside relatives who is a cowboy. He dressed very cowboy-y attire in his flashback that one time. He probably grew up on a ranch before joining the military/mercenary work.

He is probably good at dealing with ranch animals, especially horses. A certified horse gal.

Chris Redesign

I was asked and encouraged, so here it is; my design concept of Chris. I find it kind of funny that a majority of the fandom kind of... dislikes his canon design. definitely myself included.

anywho, most of my notes are self-explanatory but i always welcome questions. up next will be his Shogun Steel design bc I headcanon that after years as a Blader for hire turned WBBA agent, Chris becomes the director of the New York branch.
