Winter's Tale
Winter's Tale is a gripping story about jealousy.
This new adaptation of the Shakespeare play for the ballet by Christopher Wheeldon is compelling and the exceptional cast brings to life the whole array of powerful emotions that the story unleashes. Lauren Cuthbertson, Edward Watson, Sarah Lamb and Steven McRae are at the top of their game and a joy to watch.
The new score by Joby Talbot is powerful and provides a wide rang of colours which we endeavoured to translate to the big screen during the live to cinemas evening. A good sign: Joby saw it in the cinema and loved it!
