After seeing “City of Monsters” part 1, I had to finally share this. Normally, I would’ve waited for part 2, but I don’t want to. XD This has been in my drafts for who knows how long, but I’m ready to share it.
Before proceeding, know this: I have absolutely nothing against Chris x Wasabi! I swear! This is just my personal opinion! Please respect it, and I’ll respect yours! This is coming from someone who headcanons Wasabi as bi.
On another note, I feel bad for Gogosabi and Honeybi shippers, who feel like their ship has sunk. :’( Gogosabi/Honeybi/Fredsabi or Wasabi/OC shippers, if you’re feeling insecure, keep making your material! Chrisabi shippers, keep making your material! Don’t let anyone stop you!
I, for one, will continue making Vesabi (Wasabi x my OC Venus) all I want; and I’m not letting anyone stop me.
( Well, it went a different direction. XD - O_O But I just thought I’d share my thoughts. ^^)
Anyway, I’ve seen people hoping that Chris, Liv Amara’s assistant, will betray her, and reform to a good guy, and hook up with Wasabi. Don’t get me wrong; that’d be nice, but hear me out... (keep reading before hating me, please)
I can’t help but feel like that kind of plot should be up to fanfic writers, like the concept of Tadashi being alive all along; I just feel like that plot would be a little too predictable, like how Tadashi’s case would take away the movie’s moral message.
I think this would be much more interesting: Chris is still an antagonist alongside Liv, and tries to persuade Wasabi to join them! He’s swept up, getting in an argument with his friends, but refuses when he comes to his senses; Wasabi gets a modified trans-dermal patch put on him without his knowledge, and he’s mutated like Ned Ludd was in “Muira-Horror!”
(But what would his mutated form look like?)
The team fight the new monster, until they realize that it’s Wasabi; they then find the patch, and remove it, turning him back to normal. He makes up with them for almost joining Sycorax, and they’re all friends again.
Of course, if the other case, where Chris reforms, happens, I’d be totally fine with it! It’d be sweet! I just think the one case I wrote in would be more interesting.
