How do you balance your relationships at camp and being here?

Also, to Luke, how the hell am I supposed to handle being at camp. Im a new camper and like.. I dunno you seem like a veteran so, I just decided to mix this question with the other one. Thanks :)

Chris: Those are… good questions. Thing is… we don’t really.

Silena: *sighs* It really is difficult to keep my life straight in this context. I want to be everywhere, protect everyone I care about, but that’s not really possible, is it? Despite the fact that most of my time is spent at camp, there’s this feeling of… wrongness creeping up on me whenever I try to split myself in two between my friends there, and Charlie, and Clarisse, and the people here I still care to help. I need to lie and charm my way out of it, and it’s been working fine so far. But this fix-up won’t last a lifetime. It’s good at least that I have Chris that I can confide in, at least one person I don’t have to trick to maintain a good relationship. It’s one thing that keeps me from going crazy.

Chris: Silena’s right about that. It’s not an ideal solution but it’s warming to have each other, someone aside from Clarisse who understands a little better my feelings about my… experiences. Yanno? It’s an awkward position, between camp and the Titan Army, a traitor to both, but we’re together! I guess!

Silena: Traitor to both… gosh.

Chris: Sorry. It’s true.

Luke: And -hello there- I can assure you that being a camper will come with a whole brand new set of problems! For starters… hmm. Have good connections to the Hermes kids and to the satyrs, they might get you some advantages. Keep yourself under Chiron’s and Mr. D’s radar, you have the opportunity to get away with lots of things with how the camp is run these days. You can stay wary of monsters but making them allies is also a good option. Stay around the Athena cabin for Capture the Flag! And if anything goes wrong, if you want to fuck off: we’re waiting to help.

Chris: *raising an eyebrow* Help?
