i absolutely loathe percy jackson fans who disregard ethan nakamura as just ‘some emo guy’ and give the credit for all the minor gods getting cabins to percy

it was ethan’s idea, percy only executed it because ethan couldn’t himself. ethan nakamura is genuinely one of the most complex and well-written characters in the pjoverse and people js shrug him off as js some side character 😭😭

Imagine Percy coming down already traumatized from seeing Ethan fall only to see his mangled body on the ground on his walk home. Now every time he wants to go to somewhere he has to see the place he hit the ground. For a few weeks it wasn’t cleaned properly so his blood was dried onto the pavement and Percy had to see that too. And Sally wondered why her son never left the house anymore.

pjo fan here, anyways i LOVE when people draw leo as actually dark-skinned and short and scrawny. when percy, annabeth, will, and thalia are all at least tan and not snow-white. when frank and clarisse actually have body fat, and nico has olive skin (if it's post-hoo or pre-labyrinth) and lester has the average sticklike paunchy teenage body and piper's nose is not unrealistically large (look at a picture of an actual cherokee woman please). when hazel is actually dark and ethan is not literally yellow, and reyna is at least brown skinned and!! bonus points if not all the girls look really snatched and someone remembers that shel exists. please and thank you <33
