My guilty (emphasis on guilty) pleasure ship is Matt x Chris. There’s nothing morally wrong with it, I just prefer loyalty to Chris/Josh and Matt/Ashley.

But in this scenario Chris went to a Matt party with Josh but tried to change who he is for the night so that when Josh inevitably gets carried away by other people he won’t be awkwardly standing off to the side. He ends up having a bad high in the bathroom and gets discovered by an exasperated Matt who helps him sober up and have an actual good time at the party.

Alts underneath.

I wanted the top to feel like a grounding comforting safe haven in the party that Chris eventually reenters for comfortably with Matt. I realize this scenario works with Josh too though so much reason for Matt/Chris really is just “it’s cute”… and reminds me of Matt/Ashley, so, you know.

I like any four of these characters shipped, even Josh/Ashley despite me being unmoving in my head canon that Josh is exclusively homosexual. So I guess queer platonic Josh/Ashley would work if I ever threw them into a polycule but a polycule feels needless.

Oh well!
