I wanted  to make sure  I spoke to you  before the coffee cools and slows down before the flaring curtain before ever to be before yesterday before the phosphorescent vagary of shut eye dulls and can still be hooked in reverie day dreamt captcha  if in perfect  I would use raucous letters  placed together like parity  spoken in elegance like cursive each word from a different language and the marrow would be pierced i’ve drawn a bath of cream in porcelain  I have cut the olive trees down  gloveless  and chased the barking rabbits away  shoeless I have conquered strings and twisted strands I can only speak in pictures and auger now to fumble encore silent separate hands I have said nothing at all a vessel a shallow in bracelet and so I smile
