The Human Mind is Truly Remarkable

We live in an age obsessed with machines artificial intelligence, robots, algorithms, and self-driving cars. And yet, every so often, something as simple as tossing your phone in the air reminds you: that nothing mankind has created comes close to the brilliance of the human brain.

Earlier today, while chatting with a mate on the phone, I found myself instinctively throwing my iPhone in the air and catching it. Over and over. Absent-mindedly. Without even thinking about it.

And then it hit me: How the hell is my brain doing this?

I wasn’t consciously focusing on catching the phone. I wasn’t calculating trajectory or distance. I wasn’t telling my fingers when to close or where to move. I was having a conversation and yet, somehow, another part of me was tracking a moving object in space, adjusting my hand’s position in real-time, compensating for motion, light, gravity, and muscle tension. All without conscious effort.

Let me tell you something: that’s not normal. At least, it shouldn't be. It’s not something we should take for granted. It’s miraculous.

A Symphony of Silent Genius

Your brain is a conductor and your body is the orchestra. Just to perform this simple task (tossing and catching a phone), dozens of brain regions coordinate perfectly:

The motor cortex activates your muscles.

The cerebellum controls timing, precision, and balance.

The visual cortex tracks the phone’s arc.

The dorsal stream predicts where the phone will land.

Proprioception (your sixth sense) tells you where your hand is in space.

Reflexes make tiny last-second adjustments.

And the best part? You don’t have to think about any of it.

You're running two separate but perfectly synchronized processes one verbal (talking to your friend) and one physical (catching your phone). And both are happening seamlessly. Your brain is splitting tasks, assigning them to different areas, prioritizing efficiently, and updating inputs constantly. That’s not just multitasking that’s a level of organic processing power no AI system has ever come close to.

We Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

As a Christian, this sort of thing only deepens my awe. You could spend your entire life studying neuroscience and still not touch the depths of how the mind works. The way the brain governs the body silently, precisely, and with effortless grace speaks of something far greater than random chance or chemical coincidence. It’s design, not chaos. Order, not noise.

And while Big Tech wants us all to marvel at the “latest breakthrough” in silicon intelligence, perhaps we ought to spend a bit more time being blown away by the carbon-based intelligence sitting between our ears.

Your mind is not just remarkable it’s sacred.

So next time you find yourself tossing your phone, catching a mug without spilling the tea, or typing a text while crossing the road without getting flattened just pause. Marvel. Respect the machinery you’ve been gifted.

Because the most powerful computer on earth… is you.

Faith and Sovereignty First

The world is changing at a rapid pace, but that doesn’t mean we should sacrifice timeless values in the name of progress. As a Christian Conservative, it’s important to reaffirm what is sacred: the natural family, rooted in tradition, biology, and faith. At the same time, it’s vital to recognise the growing tide of ideologies that challenge this foundation, especially those that come from the LGBT lobby and proponents of gender ideology.

Let me be clear: there is a distinction between affirming the dignity of individuals and opposing powerful lobbies that seek to redefine core institutions of society. Respect for sexual identity whether people agree or disagree on matters of orientation is one thing. However, pushing an agenda that distorts the natural order through gender ideology is another entirely. We must stand firm in rejecting the idea that biological facts can be erased in favour of fluidity that brings chaos to family, education, and society at large.

No to Islamist Violence, Yes to Secure Borders

The rise of Islamist violence across the world presents an undeniable threat to Western civilisation. Europe, in particular, has witnessed terror attacks in major cities, often by individuals who exploit open borders and lenient migration policies. This brings us to the second part of our discussion: the need for secure borders.

National sovereignty should be paramount. A country has the right and duty to decide who enters and under what conditions. Mass migration has not only threatened Europe’s cultural and religious identity but has also strained economies, worsened crime rates, and created ghettos where integration seems nearly impossible. In saying "No" to Islamist violence, we must also be bold enough to say "No" to unregulated, mass migration. This is not an issue of race or prejudice, but of practicality and the preservation of order.

We have to acknowledge the security risks that come from unchecked migration. It's not about denying people a better life; it's about ensuring that those who come in share the values of the country and are properly integrated. I wholeheartedly agree with the Italian PM Giorgia Meloni where she said she is in favour of a  naval blockade to halt immigration.

No New World Order

Another concern that remains front and centre for Christian Conservatives is the dominance of big international finance. While globalisation has promised economic benefits, in reality, it has allowed giant corporations and financial institutions to concentrate power. We must stop the World Health Organisation dictating to us what is good and bad for us. I mean look around you what happened under the lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.  I shall always stand against this crazy notion of a one world government or should I say one world socialist government like in the book 1984 by George Orwell. If you haven’t read it. I strongly encourage you to do so. It’s an eye opening. Even better read the Book of Revelations in the Holy Bible from the King James Version. 

Defend What Matters

In a world increasingly gripped by confusion, where long standing values are challenged by new ideologies, we must defend what matters most: the natural family, secure borders, and national sovereignty. We must push back against movements and institutions that erode the integrity of our societies whether they come in the form of the LGBT lobby, mass migration, Islamist violence, or big pharma etc. Do not be afraid to stand alone in this fight.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about hate or division. It's about preserving the identity and security of nations, families, and individuals. If we don’t stand firm on these principles, who will?

The time has come to say "Yes" to what is right and "No" to what threatens our values, freedom, and future. Let's not be afraid to fight for a world that honours the natural order, secures its borders, and protects its people from the forces of chaos and control.   It does not matter how small you are as long as you have faith and a plan of action.

Who Are You?

All my life I’ve been told I was some sort of Godless heathen despite the fact that I grew up in a relatively fundamentalist Christian household. Sounds funny doesn’t it? I have never actually been called that by someone who knew me personally, but plenty of times I’ve been lumped together with people I don’t know just because I happen to share a few beliefs with them. Specifically, I have been called that only by Christian Conservatives because they say they believe that all life is sacred, except that of the poor and those condemned to die by the state. Because I believe people should be allowed to make their own choices without regard to my feelings or beliefs, I have been told repeatedly that I am amoral and unchristian because I think that it is not my business if some woman in California I don’t know decides she needs an abortion because the baby inside her is dead.

This isn’t about abortion. It doesn’t matter that I don’t approve of allowing it for any reason at any time, because I know people can be pretty scummy and make up any excuse to get out of something if they really want to, or that I know a woman who is having an abortion in the eighth month is probably dying inside because of the reasons she had to make that choice. It only matters to Christian Conservatives because I have this belief that I have no right telling another American what moral decisions they have to make. Thus, I am a Godless heathen who would allow baby murder on a mass scale so that all these young naive women can be free to have as much sex as they like before marriage and offend my God. Let’s just neglect the facts of the case so that I can feel morally superior to these people by pushing my personal beliefs unto someone else who may not believe them because I am always right when following the religious tenets I think exist.

Though, as I said, this isn’t about abortion. Hate me all you like and describe me as you must to make yourself feel superior to me, but remember that by lumping me in with things I may not approve of means everyone else has the right to do so. After all, we wouldn’t want to be hypocritical would we? Lump me in with the Satanists while your at it because I like heavy metal and played dungeons and dragons. Lump me in with the cultists because the majority of my family is either Mormon or Catholic. Lump me in with the lazy because my job isn’t one where I go to work at 8 am and clock out after I’m done, but one I do at home because I am unable to go somewhere else a large majority of the time. You kind of see where I am going with this, yes?

All this fuss is about labeling something or someone as less worthy while I put myself above it because I do not partake in such folly or evil. I need to put people in a brightly labeled box that I can identify with, even if many or none of the people I placed in said box are actually what I think they are.  Now that we know who all these people are, mr. or mrs. christian conservative, let us fill you in on who you are. Turn about is fair play isn’t it? It isn’t? Tough, let us illuminate for you how the rest of the nation and world actually sees you. Oh, by the way, I am not anti-Christian despite your beliefs and mine, just ask my family or the vocally Christian Evangelicals I played with in a church on a weekly basis in Louisiana.

I know a lot of people think that little moniker you love to label yourself with, Christian Conservative, means you are for wholesome family values under the direction of a loving and powerful God. Sadly, you are the only ones who truly think this. After all, marking yourselves Christian Conservatives, means you want to influence politics and therefore must be Republican. They are the Christian Conservative party. Actually, we should call them the Immoral, Racist Party who Love to Commit and Endorse Murder. That would be a more apt box to place them in. Hey, you are the one’s who decided everyone needed to be in a box because of how they are seen from someone else’s perspective. Just a side note however, these aren’t crimes only committed by conservatives or liberals.  There’s plenty of blame all around.

Let’s start with an easy one and one the bible definitely says you should not be. Republicans are immoral, and so are you. How? Well, let’s look at some of the more prominent people you associate yourself with. There’s tons of little petty things like DUI, Assault, and other criminal charges from just your representatives in government. These are not even the biggest crimes they have committed or been accused of committing. We have a slew of sexual assault and rape allegations and cases that can be thrown in as well. And though it is rather minor, we also have a large portion that completely and wholeheartedly endorse cheating to get ahead. Hell, they are even proud of that one, wait isn’t that another sin? I know you probably won’t look up the links I have posted, so how about I just give you a few names to check on – Matt Gaetz, Greg Gianforte, Duncan Hunter, Roy Moore, Donald Trump, just to name a few. And these are all within the last few years, we have decades of material that could be cited.

I know people make mistakes, and should be forgiven for them if they earnestly ask for it, but as far as I know none of these people has shown a shred of that sort of humility. However, lets just move on to the next apt descriptor of your compatriots. Oh, the nasty liberal is going to call us racist – boo hoo. Actually, I am not – you have already done so. I know plenty of people who call themselves Christian Conservatives who aren’t racist in overt ways or claim they aren’t. I’m even willing to believe that many Conservatives don’t think of themselves as racist and don’t act in that way. But, since we started with this guilt by association thing, let’s point out some of the people regularly calling themselves Republicans or Christian.

Nazi’s definitely call themselves Christian, especially in this nation, and some have even run as Republicans for government. These are people you voted for. Look up Arthur Jones or John Fitzgerald. Considering their history and stances on such things as Jews and eugenics, I think it’s fair to call Nazi’s racist. Speaking of eugenics, Donald Trump’s name comes up again. If you are unfamiliar with this debunked scientific theory of the 1800’s, I encourage you to look into that one as well. These simple examples are even before we get into the myriad ways Donald Trump and other Republicans have badmouthed blacks, Latino’s, or Asians. I wouldn’t think I need to put up any links to that, but hey, let’s be thorough. Wouldn’t want someone to think I was just claiming something that hadn’t actually been done.

Okay, let’s move on to the big one. The one that lots of conservatives love to call their fellow Americans, while ignoring their own versions - murderers. If you are who you associate with or support, then you definitely approve of murder. You may not be someone who would go out and commit such atrocities, but you absolutely do approve of it. Let’s start off with just a few names here and see how many are people who support conservative causes – Timothy McVeigh, Robert Bowers,   Patrick Crusius, and Kyle Rittenhouse. There are plenty of others, and many more you might or might not recognize who attempted to kill “the opposition” but either way conservatism has a violence problem. I am not saying that liberals or democrats never kill people, but all of the ones named above had conservative political motivations behind their murders. Add in the fact that plenty of conservative states now think that running over “liberal” protesters with a car shouldn’t be prosecuted despite it still being vehicular homicide no matter what jurisdiction you are in, kinda screams that you endorse murder.

As I said above, nobody is perfect. Maybe we shouldn’t just decide to throw people into little boxes. However, a vast majority of the world is going to continue to do it. So as long as you wear that red hat, wave those Trump flags, or believe everything you hear from “conservative news sites,” the rest of the world will continue to see you as racist, immoral, murderers. Personally, I don’t think the Christian Conservative moniker should stand for these sorts of things, but until Christians decide to distance themselves from the above examples this is who you are.
