#christianity is problematic

is it okay when you critique on hell you don't put down real world religions like Christianity and the like. I'm one myself and I'm also queer/have a different viewpoint on the religion than most so I understand the pains of how regular are very hate boner-y about non religious that a majority of Christians are like but I think that completely dunking it as a whole isn't the way to go. sorry if this came off as rude

When you are raised Christian and have religious trauma from it, it is allowed. If you were not raised Christian or fucked over by Christianity in some way then yeah, no shit. I will dunk on Christianity as I please as It’s fucked me over personally. I’m not some born atheist who looked at Christianity and decided it was prime dunking material. I was raised in the pews. I learned about God and the Devil from a young age and it gave me religious OCD where every time I had a stray thought I had an internal battle of whether The Holy Spirit was trying to warn me of great danger when really I was a child suffering from an Anxiety Disorder. But my congregation didn’t talk about mental health or mental illness. They talked about God, and how Praying fixes everything, and every fucking time someone tried to talk about mental health, they’d pull out the line “it’s all part of God’s plan”, which is the most condescending unhelpful bullshit anyone could ever say to someone when any normal human being would, idk, be sympathetic? Suggest getting help? But no. I didn’t get medicated until my fucking 20’s because I misconstrued A Fucking Anxiety Disorder with being spoken to by God. So excuse me when I say I can dunk on Christianity as I damn well please. If that makes you uncomfortable, don’t interact with my blog. I am literally using this blog to cope with religious trauma.

A few ridiculous things taught to me at a Christian private school.

Note: I'm not a Christian in the slightest. • "if you aren't a Christian then you're saying theft and murder is all okay because there's no divine punishment" as if there is some religious monopoly on morals. •homosexuals are lost and must be brought before god to be judged. "They are a falsification of humanity." •"women always come third. First God, then man, then women." They are always subservient, always submissive, it's simply the role god intended. To challenge it is a sin. •when a woman is raped, it's obviously divine punishment for her sins. It's gods will that she be raped. "She obviously deserved it." •You, as a student, are entirely responsible for the religious choices of your family. If your father is an alcoholic abuser it's honestly your own fault for not spreading the word of the lord. •every creature that has ever lived, extinct or otherwise, has been around during the time of man. Even dinosaurs and older. •"scientific dating methods like carbon dating are only accurate up to 500 years." •"the earth is only a few thousand years old" •Abortion is murder but miscarriages are gods merciful will •Women dying in childbirth, destroying families and ruining their partners lives forever are because the woman was a sinner. •If you think you're gay, here's some ways that you can fix it: therapy, fervent prayer, suicide. "Because suicide is at least better than being gay." •Christians have conquered the world and tried to eradicate everyone at some point. They have oppressed millions of millions, and still feel the need to claim they are being oppressed by the things they don't like. •a female student made a sex tape with her boyfriend The school: expel her. We don't want this trash associated with the school. Football player gets drunk and attempts to rape a female student. The school: this is terrible. people will get the wrong idea. We and might lose our star player! He was just misunderstood. He was a great kid and everybody loves him. He feels victimized! The quotes are all statements made by teachers throughout the time I attended the school.

Facebook is a fucking hellsite and I hate it. (TW for religion? Maybe? and I might lose followers but who cares this blog is just my galaxy brain anyways, i never really expect anyone to follow.)

Have I ever come across assholes on it? I mean, once there was that guy who commented on a post about religious lgbtq+ humans and how its ‘a shame that some of the community still believe in the big sky daddy’ specifically in relation to - i think - christians (which pissed me off to no end) but other than that? No, never. (I should also note that christianity isn’t perfect, it has hurt a LOT of people, and the bible is vastly open to interpretation, hence the numerous denominations, but I personally believe that (a) god(s), if they exist, made me, my ’soul’, as perfect and my physical body is just a mortal flesh sack that is mine to decorate and do with what I will. There are other things, but I’m not here to post my beliefs.)

So anyway, it’s the only way I can get in contact with my netball squad and get information about dates, transport, friendlies and tournaments, so I need an account, but my old account got hacked so I had to delete it and make a new one. Which is fine because I’ve been meaning to go through my account for a while and update things, but you have to wait like... 30 days at least to make a new account. Which I did. On my laptop. And now my phone is giving me an error code when I try to log in. 

I’m not a hacker! I do not know what ‘error code 1′ is and all of the sites I looked at to fix it gave me different information and all of the settings they said would be wrong are actually right! I don’t know computer stuff! Someone help!
