➤ dan lying on his bed after having dinner with his family, the rational part of his brain happy and satisfied after a good night, but his heart tugging softly, a gentle reminder that something is missing.
➤ phil playing truth bombs with his family, laughing as martyn says something very dark and suddenly a warm feeling fills his chest as he remembers of something dan said a couple days ago. he keeps playing.
➤ a familiar ringtone echoes throught the room, dan’s parents give him a knowing look, his mother has a small smile, his father a small grimace. dan excuses himself, his heart beating a little bit faster as he goes outside of his parent house. he presses his phone against his ear, feeling like he can finally breath fine again.
➤ phil thinking how they aren’t unhappy, they aren’t completely codependent, they just rather be together, cuddling and saying things no one but each other understands. dan’d breathing on the other side of the line, his voice warm and full of feelings. they’d be fine.
➤ they might never kiss under the mistletoe on christmas, but their new year’s kisses are always reserved for each other. is more than enough.

Bee's Ficmas Advent 2017
As promised, I have some news about my upcoming fic advent! What I'm doing this year is I'm going to post one fic every day that's 500-1500 words and based on a Christmas song! I'm going to start writing them soon, so if you have a song you'd like me to do send it in. I'll take into account the way the artist sings the song, so you can either send in a cover you have in mind, or you can just send me a song and a I'll pick a cover. I'm going to start writing tomorrow, so get them in soon!
In addition , there will be three regular length fics posted throughout the month on 8th, 14th and 22nd.
This is going to be a lot of fun for me, and I hope you all have fun, too! Happy hollidays!
My 2016 Phanfics
So this year, I decided to try my hand at writing phanfics and I’ve actually found that I quite enjoy the experience. So far I have only written fluffy one shots based on either tweets or live recordings of the boys. I’ve purposely left it up for the reader to interpret the fondness shown in the stories (could be seen as platonic or romantic). I’ll probably be writing more in the new year, so follow me on my writing account @secretlywritingstories if you’d like to keep up to date.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’ve liked, reblogged or said nice words about my writing. These six fics have nearly 500 notes between them, which boggles my mind. I’ve only gotten Tumblr last year and properly “joined” the phandom after having been a DnP viewer since 2014. Everyone I’ve talked to on here so far has just been so wonderful and welcoming. It means so much to me and I’m always so overjoyed when I get lovely feedback, so thank you very much for taking the time to read my stories.
DECEMBER
Christmas is a time to spend with loved ones but a tweet will have to suffice

Dan and Phil go home to their respective families for Christmas but they suddenly become very active on Twitter, tweeting about random things. Only Dan and Phil are able to read between the lines within every tweet. Throughout the story are attached real tweets by Dan and Phil.

They both do very little to hide their fondness and appreciation of each other, what they’ve achieved together, and their dear audience but it’s only when they are alone that they let their guard down.
