This would be the first year that Ellie wasn’t spending Christmas with her parents. She wasn’t even in communication with them. They hardly knew where her daughter currently was and as much as the ginger missed them dearly, she knew it was better if they didn’t know.

That didn’t mean that she didn’t want her parents around during this time of year.

You were suppose to spend Christmas with the people you loved and Ellie had ran away from them. It felt.... horrible. Luckily, the ginger had a boyfriend who always thought about her, and made her smile and feel like she didn’t have an impending death sentence hanging over her head.

Said death sentence felt no where in sight now either as Ellie was outside with Stan in the middle of working on their snow turtle all of her animated energy intact.

“So.” Ellie spoke with a bright smile on her features. “Is this going to be Michelangelo, or Raphael?”
