Beer: A bock craft beer is always a welcomed guest at any chrismas dinner in Denmark. Chrismas Bock from Thisted Bryghus has a malty/caramel taste with a mild bitter aftertaste. An okay Bock. Food pairing: Yeah, yeah, I know that Bock normally goes with dishes e.g. sausage, grilled meat etc. But I wanted to see, if the Bock could match the egg, mayonnaise and shrimp taste. Guess what, it actually works. The malty/caramel notes and the bitter aftertaste are a good match with this dish.
