Day Fourteen: #10YearsAgo I didn’t have a picture of me at age 12 handy, so the best I could do was get some pictures of me and my sister, who’s 10 years younger than me! Despite the age gap, we actually get along pretty well and I’m pretty sure she thinks I’m super funny. Not, on a real note, she’s a pretty great sister to have around. She’s always there when I need her, she’s super good with Jace, she makes me laugh, she still wants to hang out with me even if I’m her older brother, and for being 12- she’s really smart and responsible. I’d say I got a good one in the sister area! Oh, and just because I have to keep up my reputation of being the oldest brother, I feel like I should explain the bottom right picture: This is my mom holding up my 12 year old sister, Caroline’s, legs as the top half of her body is in a bunk bed... This summer when we went camping, Caroline, Sam, and I all went into the camper around the same time to go to bed as everyone else was still talking around the fire. Sam and I are peacefully laying in our bed when we start to hear this banging noise. That turns out to be Caroline trying to get into the top bunk of this bunk bed... I am not kidding you, she tried and tried and tried for LITERALLY 20 MINUTES, until my mom came in to go to bed. So my mom asks us what’s going on and why we aren’t sleeping and Sam and I just point to Caroline as we’re crying laughing so hard at watching this almost teenager struggle to get up on a stupid bunk bed. So my mom then goes over and tries to lift her legs in, but when half of her body is in, Caroline gets stuck and can’t scoot all the way in... I really don’t even know how she eventually got up there to sleep, but all I remember is just laughing so hard and crying watching all of this happen.
