ahh how has tumblr changed over your 8 years of being on here?
it’s like BT (before taylor) and (after taylor). i think there was a LOT less drama before taylor because there were a lot less blogs, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t drama though sksks
i feel like back then, it was a lot more focused on the community and being friends with each other so you never felt lonely in my opinion (maybe i’m glorifying it though, i was like 12/13 when i joined the fandom). also edits were...maybe...not stolen back then
that’s not to say that tumblr isn’t comforting or great now, i think there’s a looser version of community now because of the size of the fandom and how people approach tumblr as well
in terms of my own blog!! i was a baby bean back then (i think i hit 100 followers in 2015) so i’ve grown a lot as a blog and as a person too

hii jess, as you know lkdfjlj i love your edits sooo much! i was just wondering how you find photos for specific words in magazine/newspaper cutout designs, if that makes sense?
hi and thank you! i go on google images and search “vintage magazine -word i’m looking for” so if i’m looking for the word lights i’ll search “vintage magazine lights” and then i look through the pictures that come up and see if any picture had the word lights in it. i also search album covers too if i think there’s an artist that has the word on an album cover. ihope that helps!!
