KNBSB unveils WBC roster of team Kingdom of the Netherlands

In a press release the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation Due to an agreement with MLB, the roster of team Kingdom of the Netherlands could not presented before 0:30 AM (Dutch time).

The Dutch roster only contains familiar faces of players that have played for the team before. In the past months names of (former) MLB players from the Netherlands, Curacao and Aruba have been displayed.…

The Lincoln Saltdogs have signed the next Dutchie. After Shairon Martis, Curt Smith (who has joined Pioniers of the Dutch hoofdklasse but only will play there in the play offs when the Saltdogs are eliminated), Randolph Oduber and Dashenko Ricardo, the team signed Christopher Garia on November 18.

Last Saturday and Sunday, team Kingdom of the Netherlands played two exhibition games vs team Samurai Japan. The two games were part of  a four game series. Two were played between Mexico and Japan. European Championship: Dutch unbeaten to championship game

The Kingdom of the Netherlands took on Belgium today. After taking a quick 1-0 lead, Belgium bounced  back and took a 3-1 lead in the third inning. Eventually the Dutch turned the tables and walked off as a victor and enter the championship game with an unbeaten status.

Ciao Italia. That was the tendency of last night’s game between Kingdom of the Netherlands and Italy. European Championship: Kingdom of the Netherlands wins nail biter

Spain and the Netherlands played a mouthwatering game tonight. In a real pitching duel the runs did not come cheap. Quality pitching and quality defense were the recipe for a nail biter. In a game that was too close for comfort the Dutch stayed at the right side of the score and made a big step towards the final.
