Gather-ing, Abbey Barn, Somerset Rural life Museum

The word hoard screen where visitors gather key words from the artists word posts and then attach to the screen making a kind of modern day hoarding inside the barn.

First etching of the word clouds, feels like I am now making some progress (at last!!) Lower image show the timbers themselves which were originally prepared as roofing beams for a timber framed barn in West Somerset. Lots of prep work paying off.

Interpretation for the exhibition. Working ideas with test rubbings, a little like brass rubbings where visitors draw and rub words from the word cloud posts and create their own ‘Gathering’ of interpreted phrases in response to the artists creations.
