I sincerely hope that with the news Melissa & Chris are expecting, that fans respect boundaries & don't begin openly asking questions like' what is the gender, when is the baby due?' etc.
It is perfectly okay to just guess a babies gender on your own timelines for example (especially considering the amount of Blue Melissa and Chris are wearing & the blue baby shirt suggests it may well be a boy).
What isn't okay if you take that and it becomes more invasive. Don't begin demands that they give us answers on questions like; when is the expected birth date. Or what *is* the gender. What names have they picked out?
None of that is anyone else's business but theirs and their families.
Don't go snooping into friends or family accounts trying to garner that kind of detail.
They will release information as they see fit.

For instance, some of the demands fans made for wedding photos, or to confirm they were even married was invasive and was not acceptable.
Don't be jerks.
Also, Supergirl will have plans in place. This isn't unprecedented (Gal Gadot did Wonder Woman pregnant for example). This does not necessarily mean Supergirl will end with no season 6. Again don't speculate or begin asking what is happening until Supergirl and the CW makes future plans known. Rumour and gossip helps no-one.
Lastly huge congratulations to the parents to be. I hope Melissa and the baby are healthy throughout the remaining weeks.
