Rachel Podger (violin) and Christopher Glynn (piano), playing Beethoven Sonatas. An enjoyable performance from the brilliant Baroque violinist. I notice she has changed her bow for Beethoven and uses a more modern hold, while the strings still sound like gut. I also love the quieter, more intimate sound of the piano. Podger also plays C.P.E Bach and Haydn, would love to see how she approaches those composers, too.
