Teenage Wrist - Chrome Neon Jesus (2018).......This is the debut album and I’m almost positive that not many have heard of this band before. This is actually my first exposure to their music as well and it’s not bad. Definitely a shoegaze band but you can hear the elements of post-grunge and even emo, which is bit of a put off. Nonetheless the album is firmly rooted in neo shoegaze and lot similar to maybe Exit Calm. The music is pretty much straight forward so there isn’t that much freshness or excitement as far as I can hear. Not for everybody so I refrain from recommending it, however if you’re a huge shoegaze fan then this album is definitely worth checking out.
