Chromyrose has a particularly attractive style, especially when it comes to bringing all their characters to life. I felt the whole atmosphere that they were trying to portray, and felt even more connected to the characters! They also display the ability to go on a more light-hearted, cute tone with Fighting Evil By Moonlight (a Sailor Moon Au that was so cute I squealed at the end!)

the world might do me in + Moonstruck
Right from the start, this writer captured my attention with their beautifully descriptive prose! Not only that, but they’re very balanced, handling dialogue between characters just as well. I absolutely loved the way they portrayed Yuuri and Phichit’s friendship in “the world might do me in” and their work has such a sweet heartwarming message! It’s rare seeing a modern magic AU but xylophones hit the nail right on the head in “Moonstruck”.

Living and Loving + Broken
I was pleasantly surprised by this writer; they offer an intricate take on Yuuri’s feelings in “Broken”, building up how his anxiety has impacted his life over time. Their prose is positively pretty - I especially love how they add little snippets of beautiful imagery that compliments whatever is happening in the scene! (A small warning for those going to read this – Living and Loving does include a major character death so look out for that!)
