It is crazy to believe that summer is winding down and it is time to get ready for the new school year to begin. For myself, that means getting ready for school and road tripping back, halfway across the country. After a long 9 hour drive today, I can honestly say that I have not been in this much pain in a while.
Partially, it was my fault as I did not want to take as many stops to stretch my legs like I usually do but it is hard also to know where you limits are when you are chronically ill.
As someone who is still new to being on the road and coping with chronic pain, I unfortunately have yet to know what my limits are and how are good ways to plan for trips and things to do in order to flare up. I know all conditions very, but in general, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their personal travel tips for dealing with their chronic conditions?

Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them
1. What is your go-to meal to make for yourself?
I actually like to cook a lot so there are several things I make, but usually pasta.
2. Album of the year?
That's a hard one! This year had so many great albums. One of them is Modern Vampires Of the City by Vampire Weekend is a great one, but I think I have to give it to Save Rock and Roll by Fall Out Boy just because I've been waiting for it for years.
3. Most overrated thing of 2013?
I can't really remember what happened in the beginnings of 2013 so I'm just gonna go with the most recent one. Miley Cyrus.
4. Favourite TV show?
Right now it's Grey's Anatomy.
5. Kristen Stewart - love her or hate her?
Love her.
6. What album and movie are you most looking forward to in 2014?
Movie: Mockingjay.
Album: I don't know, will Ed Sheeran release new music?
7. Most badass animal?
Honey badger.
8. What food do you love that people look at you weirdly for?
I can't think of anything at the moment.
9. Coolest thing that happened this year?
Probably meeting Pasek and Paul and getting to talk to them for a few minutes. It was just something that I never thought would happen in my life so it's really something that will always be dear to my heart.
10. Have you got all your Christmas shopping?
No, haven't even started yet.
11. What are you having for dinner tonight, and is it obvious that I’m hungry by the fact that there are plenty of food questions?
Haha, I had a salad.
1. Favourite band/music artist?
2. What do you still want to get done before 2013 ends?
3. Coffee order? Or if you're not a coffee drinker, what do you drink instead?
4. Favourite quote?
5. Do you celebrate Christmas, and do you like it?
6. Celebrity everyone seems to love, but you don't undestand why?
I can somewhat relate to what you seem to be experiencing. I go through phases where I can barely eat or drink and even a smoothie feels like it can fill me up for the day, which is abnormal since I am usually constantly eating. I tend to get nauseous and just feel really heavy and bloated from even a basic meal. I also have never gotten diagnosed with anything over these phases and it tends to have no relation to when I experience my chronic nerve pain.
agh that’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s so weird because I normally eat every few hours and drink 2-3 pints of water a day. I’m thinking that it’s just another case of my body having trouble regulating itself but it is quite frustrating to feel so sick for no apparent reason - plus I am kinda worried about getting dehydrated. I think my parents think I’m being overly worried about this which is frustrating too
I'm making this post now because it'll be 2013 in a few minutes for me.
Okay so I just wanted to thank you all for making my year better and I don't know what I did before I knew you guys. I spent so many nights staying up until 3 or 4am being silly and talking to some of you. You have been there for me when other people weren't and you always cared about me when I thought no one would. I really hope that 2013 will be even better, and I know it will, because I found some of the kindest, most caring people on here and you understand me in ways other people just can't.
So thank you for making my year so much better than it was going to be without you and I love you all dearly and I wish you all a happy new year!!
so many birthdays and assignments in the next few days (and payday woohoo!) I'll be back in a few days so please don't unfollow me. Or do I have a tracker anyway so yeah I love yous Ps, SAIRIEE I MISS YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE TOO! Text me, lovely <3
