Now that the chronofall is over, I'll be taking a little break from social media for a while. Listening to all of these voicemails from the future has made me reevaluate some things. I don't know what the future will bring, but I've got a pretty good present and I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

We're near the end
Today's the last day of the chronofall. We're wrapping up and decoding the last chronofacts. I've changed a lot over the past few months. I guess one would expect that when you're listening to voicemails from the future, but I've changed in ways I didn't expect. You can read more about it over at the FutureCoast Chronofall Diary. Some of the other Coasters will be posting their thoughts there soon too.
Monkeys and Moral Quandaries
I took this picture at the zoo a couple of years ago. Every time I look at it, I can’t help but think that the monkey on the left looks guilty, like he thinks he doesn’t deserve that nice grooming from his friend.
A while back, I wrote about how I felt a bit guilty using the information we get from the chronofacts for personal use. I mean, we’re basically eavesdropping on people from the future when we listen to these voicemails. Through the chronofacts, we’re somehow now privy to secret knowledge that should have belonged only to the people of the future.
But maybe it doesn’t belong to just them. As the chronofall is nearing its end date, I’m realizing that feeling guilty about any of this doesn’t really help anyone. I don’t know why we’re getting this information. Is it just a random glitch in the technology used in the future? Or is someone intentionally sending the voicemails back in time for us to hear? We really don’t know and I don’t know if we ever will.
If we can use this information to not only better the world, but to better our own lives, why not do it? I’ve decided (for myself anyway) there’s really no reason to feel guilty over receiving something so completely amazing.
If I could, I’d send my own little monkey chronofact back to the zoo on the day I took this picture. I’d tell the little guy, “Just lean back, close your eyes and enjoy that grooming, little monkey. Stop worrying so darn much.”

I knew from the start that this major world-wide chronofall would only last a few months, but I just didn't think that these few months wold fly by SO FAST!
It's hard for me to look back on these past months and try to think of how to sum up everything I experienced during this major chronofall.
My mind is spinning! I have to start sorting through all the voicemails that are floating around in my brain. All the voicemails that struck a chord with me one way or another, and what it all means! What does this all mean for my future? Also what does this mean for my life RIGHT NOW?
In what way(s) has futurecoast changed me? SO MANY. I'm overwhelmed! I need some sort of "inner brain personal assistant" to move into my head and sort through all the information and help me make sense of it all!

I cannot BELIEVE I missed out on the MPLS chronofall! gaaaahh!! Of course it all happens on the ONE DAY I was busy with a huge work overload. GAAAHH!
I won't be bitter, however--because the chronofact was found almost RIGHT AWAY! This is a HUGE success!
