The bark of laughter that left Klaus's lips was so forceful that his head fell backward, shoulders quivering from the jovial sound as it echoed up into the air. There was both fresh and long-since-dried blood trailing from various wounds here and there along his head and chest, and the wounds glistened as he laughed.
It took him a few seconds to level his head and meet the other's gaze, his own green eyes dilated and somewhat watery from the motley crew of emotions burning inside of his chest.
"HA! HAHAhahahahaHAAAA! Ohhhhohooo, well… Ahhh well, then-- it looks like I'm gonna live a really, really long fuckin' time. Lucky me," he insisted before dissolving into another fit of nearly hysterical laughter. The sound was tainted around the edges as the tone wavered between amused and absolutely terrified.
He blinked rapidly, the tears sliding down his cheeks and soaking into his goatee as he took a shuddering, sniffling breath inward and looked around the expanse. It didn't look like anything he'd ever seen before, and his stomach twisted with unease as he realized that no part of the experience seemed terrestrial.
"Look, I don't-- I don't know shit, okay? One minute I was sitting on a city bus with a briefcase in my lap and the next thing I know, I'm- I'm-- I'm-- here." He insisted, the aforementioned briefcase laying on the ground several feet away and smoking from within. Klaus himself was clad in a long black coat that fell to his knees that was buttoned at his waist, and a bloodied white towel wrapped around his waist beneath that- but that was all.
