College match? I am an international student and I want to study engineering. I am aiming to the maximum score possible in my system, which would be like 7 a* and 4 a at GCSE and 95% total average in the 11 subjects that I am taking. I am not particularly interested in tier 3 colleges (or at least I think?). I am male, so no al-female colleges. Distance is by no means a concern of mine, I am used to walking and cycling a lot to go to school. (1)
As for number of students of the college, I don’t really know what would suit me: I am really sociable and love to get to know other people but I don’t drink at all and I prefer staying in college for something like a film evening rather than go clubbing. I do need cooking facilities but I can make do with a hob, an oven would be a luxury. Accommodation-wise I would like a college which could store my belongings during the holidays and I would prefer to live onsite at least in my third year.(2)
I forgot to say that I am rather competitive and would benefit from a slightly more academic college, but with something like a work hard, play hard drink free environment. Thank you very much! I wish you the best! By the way do find an aacs who can tag as effectively as you!______________
I think Churchill sounds really good for you! It’s really strong for sciences, bit further away but that’s not a problem, a bit cheaper, and I think a good call for your vibe! They have tons of international storage and do let you stay over breaks (I’m like, 99% sure). Another option to look into would be Christs. Hope that helps!
(as for the new AACS, I’ll do my best!)
