Accusations of canonical impracticality and but-my-fantasy-worldism can be fended off with two simple words: STFU NOOB.

I could be wrong. Maybe I just like to draw people looking like people, with all the variety that brings with it. Maybe I just know that chubby girls can be just as fucking awesome and adventurous (and yes, athletic) as skinny ones, and deserve to get shit done in stories where they're not constantly hounded by the narrative or whined about because LOL SUBJECTIVELY ENFORCED AND MISINFORMED CRY FOR REALISM. Maybe because chubby girls are pretty and need more love in this crappy media-saturated culture where casual body hatred is a socially acceptable default for women and little girls. Maybe because it takes nothing from your giant pile of standard pinup girls to give someone different a place to feel represented and adored.

Maybe I say maybe too much.

If it adds a layer of individuality and fun to your depiction of a character, fucking do it. Play in the sandbox and be happy that it's such a nice day out.

I mean FUCK.

Body type is such a two-inch curb on the tentacle-penises-pissing-gallons-of-technicolor-jizz-into-big-metal-buckets roadside of the Homestuck fandom that it baffles me when I get comments on my DA about it or read that someone's hassling luzerna on the chans YET AGAIN or bitching at Squidbiscuit to tag for obesity art like a normal human body type needs a fucking warning label.

Just.
